I am back from the dead cuz Mandalorian and Grogu trailer totally got me 😤 can’t wait for May!!!. Wanted to practice drawing Din in different stages of his life, I wish we knew more about his past :’D especially when he was with Ran’s crew.

His armor, his beskar'gam, had always been a point of pride. Proof to the universe that he had a place within it; evidence of his belonging to the Tribe. Honored to be trusted with the history and the prestige that the Way of the Mandalore granted.

Some of the other foundlings had been nervous to accept the Way. To put on the helmet with the knowledge that their face may never be looked upon again was and remains intimidating. To accept that fate was part of what set Mandalorians apart from others in the galaxy. Not just in appearance, but in honor and commitment.

Din had been happy to accept his armor when the day came. Slipping on his helmet without hesitation, his past fading alongside it. Cin vhetin. His clean slate from the horrors of his childhood. He never faced a moment’s hesitation, not a fraction of doubt, when it came to the Way. It became his life, his new normal, experiencing the world through his helmet’s filters. Imagining a world without it, to become dar'manda, his only fear.

Some sort of meeting is happening and Boba turns to Grogu and asks for the baby's opinion on the matter. Grogu proudly shows off whatever he's been given to snack on. Boba nods and the meeting continues.

He gives detailed storytime about his time with the Tuskens and his life in the desert, with lots of gestures and reenacting. Grogu is delighted and claps.

He sits the baby on the throne and takes a picture, sending it to Din with the caption of 'he's doing a very good job'.
