I was nervous, I only started One Piece last year so I know that I'm super new to a giant fandom. It's really nice finding niches like the lovelys who ship Dofuwani & participate in something like this. Everybody's contributions were SO CREATIVE!! and so incredible!!

Day 1 prompt I chose was ANIMALS! And yes, I chose the low hanging fruit of a mink design for both of them lol. What can I say, drawing furries is fun 🦩🐊🦩🐊🦩🐊

Dofuwani week

Day 1 —"Celestial Dragons"

𝐺𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒, 𝐼'𝑚 𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑎 𝑑𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑜𝑛 𝐴𝑈, ℎ𝑒ℎ𝑒. 𝐼 𝑡𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑡ℎ𝑒 "𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑑𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑜𝑛" 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑡 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦.

Day 2 for Dofuwani week I chose to take us to one of Doflamingo's countless "29th" Birthday Parties. We learn about a peculiar ritual each birthday that the two men share.

Day 2 — Meeting

For today's fic, we see how the two men handle a disagreement surrounding what constitutes a fine gift.

Doflamingo held the wine bottle in his hand, palming its weight with slight displeasure wrapped up in a familiar scowl.

“What is this?”

“What does it look like? Wine. The best Merlot I could find. I asked the sommelier for his help this time.”

A scoff erupts from Doflamingo’s throat, still ever-so incredulous for a reason Crocodile was having a hard time pinning down. After all, it was Doflamingo himself who had suggested they start exchanging gifts on this day, the date that the man insisted was the first time the two had met. Several years back, Crocodile had thought it was three days later than the actual date, and never heard the end of it from Doffy. Since then, Doflamingo had never seemed quite pleased with whatever Sir Crocodile would bring to their exchange, year by year. 

“You know something, Crocodile? You really piss me off sometimes. So inconsiderate.”

“What the hell did I do wrong this time?”

“This is your gift?”

Doflamingo holds the bottle up next to his disappointed face. Exasperated, Crocodile replies:

“Yes? Is there a problem? I was told-”

“Where’s the note?”

Crocodile sputters.

“A note?”

Doflamingo sneers, with a pointedness in his response:

“No gift is complete without a note to the recipient. That’s the rules.”
