Look, I have characters I hate. I have ships I dislike very much. But I'm not the type to go onto other people's posts or into their inboxes to say that to them about the characters then like.
I don't care for it. I see it too often that trolling ass anons will come into someone's inbox to say stupid things like "this character should die, they're useless, they're only carried by shipping/or whatever else". I think it's really immature and pathetic and honestly that person has a really boring life.
If I don't say myself that I hate a character or ship, I don't care for your slander on said character or ship because 9/10 you're just going to be an ass.
If I put a positive Miruko post out, don't need you to come in with "well, she sucks" and some other bullshit.
I'm also into other animes while exploring others. Like Jujutsu Kaisen! My favorite three are definitely Yuji, Sukuna and Takako. I have other favorite characters, I'll be honest.

Okay, remember this snippet I shared last week? This fic may not be the fic being posted for ItaFushi Week this year but the fic itself isn't scrapped at all! I still like the idea and I have been working on it more anyways. Instead, literally like a day or two ago, I did come up with another vision for a prompt I was already using for that fic. So here's a sneak peek of that one!
Hana is born October 4th, which makes her and Kokichi (aka Mechamaru) birthday twins! Naoya is born on the 22nd of the same month (which is just the day before Toge's which is on the 23rd).
sorry but once you notice how often ppl use a southern accent as shorthand for being unintelligent you can never unsee it. classism is baked so deeply and why are you acting like anyone who talks the way my grandfather talks is stupid.
Mhm plus this impacts way more than just how intelligent we view the speaker! For example: Dixon, Mahoney and Cocks looked at the association with accents/dialects and how guilty we assume a person. They found that suspects speaking in a Brummie accent (which is a regional urban accent in the UK) were viewed as significantly more guilty than those with an RP (received pronunciation or "Queen's English" the stereotypical fancy one). Also wanna note that the most guilty combination was a Black person with a Brummie accent who had committed a blue collar crime so yk other variables do impact our impression of guilt apart from just accents/region such as race and social class (yay intersectionality). Now obligatory this study isn't perfect. I mean they only had either a Brummie Speaker or an RP Speaker so would've been better with more accents, didn't have a massive sample group meaning it could've been impacted by participant variables more likely (like if that sample of people was just really really racist then that may impact the results) but despite that it's still a good demonstration.
There are other studies that show a similar thing of how our accents can change how we are perceived. I mean Giles looked at how our accents changed how we were perceived in terms of: Status, Personality and Persuasiveness. Status was easy enough to rank being what you'd expect of 1. RP 2. National Accents (so like Welsh, Scottish, Irish, Aussie) 3. Regional Rural Accents 4. Regional Urban Accents. Personality found that RP was seen as self-confident, intelligent and ambitious. But it was also
seen as cold and ruthless. Northern-accented speech was characterised as honest, reliable, generous, sincere, warm and humourous. Persuasiveness is harder bcs ppl can be persuasive for multiple reasons (intelligence, status, friendliness etc.) however, only those who had listened to the presentation in a regional accent had changed their mind. So take that as you will.
Dr Lance Workman's study looked at attractiveness and intelligence in relation to accents. They used RP, Yorkshire, Birmingham/Brummie and a silent condition (just read the text themselves). For intelligence they actually found that the Yorkshire accent is considered to be more intelligent than RP. But the Brummie accent was rated on par with the Silent condition. They did, however, find no relationship between attractiveness and accent. Results
are discussed in terms of a reduction in negativity for some regional accents but not for others, where unfounded, negative stereotypes continue to be persuasive.
I apologise I have just gone off on a Sociologistics rants but yeah accents and dialects impact the way people see us typically due to stereotypes they form (often formed out of systems that keep people from moving through the ranks. Like if a certain accent is viewed as less intelligent but people in that area can't go to school/their schools have poor findings then that can lead to them getting a poor education meaning they're less likely to be able to get a good paying job meaning their kids are less likely to be able to go to a good school and get a good education and the cycle continues). Obviously I mainly focused on UK accents but this is applicable all around the world.
I think it's just important to be aware of your biases and what stereotypes you lean into and why.
