Yeah, it's gotten to the point where I am so done with folks who come at me the way that person did. I hate being mean and bitchy, sometimes I do feel that I come off that way but I hate it when people are just rude, just unprovoked when someone expresses their opinion about something.

Disagree with me all you want, but I draw the line coming onto my post with an attitude and acting as if I'm wrong for expressing feelings and I'm not coddling your favorite.

I knew off the bat what kind of fan that she was.

It's a shame because I know there are Mal fans who are just pretty chill. Others? I wouldn't call them fans, just racists who hide behind favoring the white main character.

They're the type to latch onto a character like Mal and go around to project their own issues and racist views onto other people.

I'm not surprised she has posts about Audrey like that.

Audrey wanting to poison the VKs? Oh, please. If Audrey was the same person who was annoyed at Mal breaking rules, you're telling me she would be the type to actually take the time and effort to take out four people?

"But the third movie---!" Ah! Let's be real, Audrey wouldn't have stolen that specter and crown had she not been influenced. And about that, as much flack Audrey gets for that, why those same people aren't up in arms about Auradon's poor ass security? As panicked as the citizens like to be when a villain comes around you would think they would have tighter security on items such as Maleficent's specter. Why even have something like that on a museum?!

And you're right to tell her that her hatred for Audrey is unhealthy.

I have characters I hate. And maybe I'll expressing it here and there.

However, I'm not going to write rant posts and making things up about those characters and arguing with people.

There's a difference between hating a character and expressing such a couple of times and being obsessed with the concept of hating a character to the point of making it nearly your whole blog.

Again, I'm not surprised. Of course, she would attack Uma and Evie.

Uma had not done anything to Mal that was as bad as the things Mal has done to her, which she did not apologize for. Uma's actions in the second movie were no worse than what Mal has done. Shoot, Uma really was doing all that because she felt it wasn't fair how Mal left and nothing more for the people, children especially, of the Isle.

I stand by saying one of my favorite Uma lines in D3 is "Not everything is about you, Mal". She was so right. Not everything is about her, including Uma's anger which wasn't just directed at Mal.

And Evie? If you're a Mal fan and you have hate for Evie, that's weird to me. That's the last person who should get hate when it comes to Mal. Evie, Carlos and Jay. Like, any of those three? How could you hate them when they stay having her back. (The writing for the movies did them so dirty after the first movie.)

"Evie didn't help Mal enough."

The lies people will put on my blue haired princess' name! Lies!

We all know Evie would have Mal's back whenever she needs her.

And I hope to not into that other Anti Audrey blog. Wishing her to die is extreme. So very extreme.

I bet they're the type to go through tags looking to pick fights with people.

Look, Mal is a victim of bad parenting and she can have her good qualities. And I know, some of what she does is because of pressure. Sometimes, I will even think that "the writing is off'.

But a fan like that makes it seem that Mal is the only victim, hasn't done wrong and is flawless when she is not.

Again, I don't hate Mal. But I'm not going to be the person to gloss over everything she has and has not done.

No character is a complete saint in Descendants, some worse than Mal herself. However, it is unfair that some of her fans will act as if other characters can't have some defense and be understood and only have their wrong doings be brought to light.

Like with Audrey, she’s the worst character ever. She so spoiled and should be skinned alive for her crimes. Doesn’t matter that she apologized and realized what she did was wrong, we’re gonna lie and say she never apologized. She should be burned at the stake and all of the characters should hate her

But when people bring up the things Mal has done, suddenly she’s just an 16 year old girl. She’s done nothing wrong and all of her actions should be excused.

The way she tries to help is a little controlling (and yes, something she should work on), at least in the second movie that I can recall, but that doesn't mean she isn't supportive.

In the bedroom scene (Descendants 2), Evie does try to give her advice. "Hey, how about not keep secrets between you and Ben?" (Mal keeping secrets does cause problems later.) And she had a point about the spell book being in the museum. It seemed unfair that her Mirror is there, but not the book. I only am not too iffy about that though because security in Auradon sucks. A lot.

With that, she's telling her to talk to Ben. Have communication. Communication that could have helped their relationship.

When Evie tells Mal about leaving the Isle in the past and that they were in Auradon now, she wasn't trying to be malicious or even control her intentionally. It was her way of saying "hey, you can try to be who you want to be". Not "no, you have to be like a pretty pink princess".

Even with making clothes for and dressing up Mal, it's just how Evie is. That's her language.

When they get to the Isle, Evie doesn't try to immediately drag Mal back. Instead, she lets Ben talk to her first when that fails, Evie tries. When Mal doesn't want to talk, she doesn't force her.

Mal isn't straightforward when she needs to be. (Descendants 3 is a big example of that.) It's not like Evie wouldn't listen to her, she often does. Even when she doesn't, Evie does admit it (their song). Evie was willing to risk her freedom to get Mal back.

When Mal tells her she couldn't ruin Evie's happiness and that's why she couldn't say anything, Evie doesn't get mad or even scowls her on that. Evie, even though it's made aware Evie is happy in Auradon, states she would stay at the Isle if Mal was staying, too. She would rather forget her own happiness just so she could be with Mal.

Even though Evie was wrapped up in her own happiness, she doesn't expect Mal to exactly change the way she is. Evie has her own faults and doesn't try to act like she is better than Mal. If Mal messes up, Evie will call her out (something you should do to help your friend better themselves).

In that "but you said no" scene, Mal isn't, again, straightforward with her. Evie assumes Mal said no about closing the barrier because just like her, Mal was part of the program in bringing other VKs over to give them better lives. It's not as if Evie didn't have every reason to think otherwise.

Mal doesn't tell her "actually, I didn't say no". Even if she didn't admit that to not upset Evie, she still stood have said something. They already went through this in the second movie, so Mal doesn't really have an excuse to not tell Evie the truth. Evie has every right to be upset with her. Especially when Evie and the others could have had a heads-up and try to do something to persuade them about closing the barrier earlier. It wasn't just about her being lied to. It was about everyone who would be affected (the children being the most important) being lied to.

Evie has her own faults, but she does try to be a good friend to Mal.

I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise about whether or not Evie is a bad friend since I'm not one to want someone to think or feel how I do. I just have my thoughts and I share them.
