La Fête de la Soupe Street Art
Sete, France
One of my favorite discoveries while exploring Sète. Created for La Fête de la Soupe 2025, this vibrant mural brings bold color and contemporary street art to the city’s historic streets. Another reminder that some of the best galleries in southern France don’t have walls or admission fees.

🍂 Ready to Conjure Autumn? | Reflections Along the Canal in Nîmes
Enough.
This heatwave has had its moment.
So here’s a little act of seasonal rebellion from last autumn in Nîmes.
The canal is covered in burnt amber leaves drifting across reflections of an impossibly blue sky. More leaves fall from the trees with no concern for cameras or calendars, quietly turning the water into a moving canvas. Every direction offers another color, another reflection, another excuse to slow down for a few seconds.
My spouse brought me here for my birthday, and somewhere between the water, the trees, and the changing light, Nîmes delivered one of the most beautiful autumn scenes I’ve ever experienced.
Maybe it’s too early to wish summer away.
Then again… maybe not.
Are you ready to conjure autumn yet?
