This is not my usual content but I feel like I have to say this with the Avid and Marmalade situation that just came to light.
You are not a bad person for enjoying their content.
You are not a bad person for supporting them in the past.
You are not a bad person for relating to or liking their characters.
You are not a bad person for not seeing any signs or not listening to those who did.
You are not a bad person for thinking you found a creator (or creators) that wasn't an awful person.
It is okay if you keep up your old fanfics, fanart, etc.
It is okay if you still find comfort in their characters.
Their characters and them are not one and the same.
It is okay if you watch Vampires, The Flight, Misadventures, etc.
There are still other POV's you can watch.
It is okay if you are hurting and have shed tears about this situation.
I know I have. Multiple times.
Though we viewer's were not directly manipulated by these two, we were still lied to and tricked into believing they were good people. Some have had a feeling this would happen but most of us didn't and it is okay if you are apart of the majority. In the words of Doovid, you should not need to be suspicious of every creator you like.
We all have been hurt with this all coming to light, but what's important now is supporting the victims and trying to move on.
I sincerely hope that Avid and Marmalade can get the professional help they need to be better.
Please do not send hate to ANYONE (yes, including Avid and Marmalade) that is caught up in this. This is one of those situations where we all need to be the bigger person in order to help ourselves and others move on.
