Hey. Minors following me. Internet safety is key!! NEVER include these in your bio/byf:
Medical diagnoses - this is nobody's business but yours. You don't owe anyone an explanation for why you are the way that you are
Trauma - same reason as above
Triggers - people can use these against you! Don't give people tools to hurt you. No one has to know what tags you block. Just block tags to stay safe!
Age - age is okay for adults to include but is iffy when you're a teen. Predators want this information, don't give people more than they need. Just state that you're a minor, that's all that anyone needs to know.
In general: stay safe. If you're not comfortable with every stranger out there having access to this information, you shouldn't post it on the internet.
Play devil's advocate and ask yourself about what would happen if someone searched for your information with intent to hurt you. You do NOT owe anyone an explanation!
adding on to this post, i agree w all of OPs points, but i also highly advise against super young teens posting their face on the internet, its so easy to take peoples selfies + name and find stuff out like your school and then figure out the rough area in which you live. same with your phone number. be super careful about what you put out there. once you post it, it really is here forever.
OP already said this so Iâm just reiterating to emphasize:
The golden rule of information sharing on the internet is: What would happen if someone saw this who wanted to hurt me?
If the answer is that it would make it easier to harass you, identify you, contact you, or god forbid find you, donât put it online. You canât fully control who does and does not see that information--not even with privacy settings.
Obsessed with this $98 pillow

a dude came into the library stoned out of his mind and was like, âdo I need a library card to look at books?â And I said, âto take books home, yes. To look at them, noâ and he looked so relieved. bro was staring at a fish encyclopedia for like an hour and then just left.
this is literally all society needs to be
Santa is on strike due to global warming. Â All presents this year will be delivered by Sasha the Christmas Tiger. Â Milk and cookies may not be sufficient.

Holy shit, Dr. Tingle, go OFF!!!!
been trotting through and looking at old posts about old chuck on here and it is SO MOVING i appreciate this love and kindness so much. i will probably reblog a few that i find moving every once in a while but dang really appreciate this one.
if you trot along the LGBTQIA SPECTRUM then your identity is VALID and you are welcome in the tingleverse bud. come on in we got chocolate milk and spaghetti for everyone
as all proud BI BUCKAROOS know gatekeeping can be such a big problem with purity tests telling you THEY know who you are more than you know yourself. guess what bud, YOU know yourself and your identity is yours alone. obviously this is big issue from OUTSIDE the community but dang does it sting a little more from inside. this is why i have said many times:
the one person WHO NEEDS A HOME that you keep out with your gates is not worth the devils you filter. when a buckaroo says âthis is my wayâ it is so important to say âokay bud love is real come on and trot with usâ
anyway i wrote a tingler about this important topic called NOT POUNDED BY THE PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION OF BISEXUAL GATEKEEPING BECAUSE IT'S SUPER GROSS AND IF YOU DO IT YOUâRE NOT THE HERO YOU THINK YOU ARE, YOUâRE ACTUALLY JUST A JERK
I've seen a lot of posts welcoming new Tumblr users, but I haven't seen any welcoming old users BACK. So, if you're returning, here's some fun new stuff Tumblr has added. Some of this may be desktop only right now, but Tumblr has been very good about migrating features to mobile without too much delay. I'm also primarily a desktop user, so some buttons may be in different spots on mobile.
You can now turn off reblogs on your posts, even the old ones. Click on the little gear icon at the top of the post window and towards the bottom to set reblogs to "anyone" or "no one."
You can have up to 30 images in a post now! Just be sure to be respectful and tag it as a long post.
Speaking of long posts, you can now set tumblr to automatically shorten anything over a certain length. It's under Settings>Dashboard.
Tumblr now has content labels, which is what has allowed them to bring back mature content art. These are important, so please use them. You can turn them on on each post individually by clicking the "everyone" drop down next to the "post now" button. And you can control how your dashboard shows or doesn't show labeled posts by going to Settings>Account.
You can now filter tags and post content via tumblr itself without using something like XKit! This is also under Settings>Account.
Tumblr offers an ad-free subscription now. $40 a year. If you love this little hellsite, this is a great way to show support!
Tumblr also allows users to pay to turn their posts into ads now. It's called blazing a post. It is great fun and generally hilarious. You have no control over your audience. You're just yeeting your post, of any sort, not just advertising, off into the void. An ad-free subscription hides these posts, but you can in fact turn blazed posts specifically back on while blocking the rest of the ads. Blaze a post by clicking on the little flame icon at the bottom. You can only blaze your own posts.
You can buy fun little tchotchkys for your dashboard and, sometimes, the dashboards of others. Right now we've got crabs, a horse that shits everywhere, and the super special double blue checkmarks. These are just fun little things to play with.
You can now enable tipping on your blog/individual posts. Totally optional, of course, but can be useful if you're a creator.
Staff has been a lot more active this last year, so if you want to keep up with what is going on be sure to follow @staff, @changes, and @wip.
That's all I can think of. Everyone else is free to add to this!

As of this writing, Goncharov has been added and removed from the Martin Scorsese filmography Wikipedia page 7 times.
Y'all also need to understand that Goncharov is a simulation of a public disinformation campaign. People aren't harmed not because it's "just a movie" but because we let each other know that it's fake. It's what makes the gaslighting non-malevolent. If we learn nothing else from this, let it be:
1. Never trust images
2. Always look for primary sources and follow citations and cross-reference, never accept things from exerpts, secondhand sources or just because you hear the same thing over and over
3. Be desperately grateful that free collaborative databases like Wikipedia, Letterboxd and IMDB are staunchly defending their integrity no matter what. If we stop being able to trust any of them for any reason, no matter how small, a key if rudimentary verification tool gets compromised and a knowledge community destabilised. If we can't trust the small stuff, we can't trust the big stuff.
Not being able to rely on the protection of community ethics is how we devolve from a mutually co-operative community into a pit of vipers out to eat each other.
The amount of people getting 0 upvotes for calling this shit ugly is kaczynski inducing
Guys the issue isn't (mainly) that these are all identical cookie cutter houses without a grass lawn, or what they're one step away from apartments (these are worse than apartments), or even that it's "high density" housing (it's not really, they're still single family homes).
the issue is this sort of development is a fucking zoning dystopia that manufactures human misery. I think north Americans who haven't been outside USA or Canada will often forget that the majority of the world and most of human history did not have towns carved up into "housing zone" and "everything else" zones.
The extinction of mixed use zoning has been devastating on communities. It leaves people in food deserts. it leaves people more sedentary and pedestrians more at risk because of car dependency. it leaves children alienated, depressed, and much more dependant on their parents for longer when they need a drive to go anywhere interesting. Not to mention a lack of any profit generation besides property taxes leads to suburbs consistently being subsidized by the inner cities because they are economic sandpits with 10x the asphalt, piping, and utilities needed because every home needs its own independent setup.
Having swaths of land designated for absolutely nothing but residential development is a waste at every level. Hell, even communist bloc housing was smart enough to keep a ground floor for business space, many have small groceries or stores to keep things walkable.
This setup is an extremely common sight in eastern Europe. They aren't American style non-perishable food desert corner stores either, they sell fresh meat and produce and many are open 24 hours. The nearest thing you can get around here to "European" style zoning (we had it too actually, we just bulldozed it all lol) is probably Montreal because Quebec prides itself on french identity and architecture/city planning is no exception.
I stg the north American white middle class is so agoraphobic they built themselves into misery pods, but hey at least there's no undesirables in the neighborhood bringing down property value so in the end it was all worth it. And yes a lot of it does all come back to racism. A combination of white flight from urban areas and the exclusion of black veterans from the G.I. bill lead to these homogenized ivory towers of nothingness.
whoa dude when I heard about "radfems" I thought it would be some most radical females! đđ¤
but these chicks are saying some bogus things about other babes đŹ
you bitches better hope that twitter doesnât actually die because that means that iâm going to be taking all of my excess random thoughts and putting them here instead of on my nice quiet locked account which means iâm going to be subjecting you to like 9-15 posts a day like âanyone else think young kyle machlachlan looks like a butch lesbianâ or âwhat if tony soprano was bisexualâ or âi have a mosquito biteâÂ

if you donât use bandcamp, iâd really encourage you to spend some time there. thereâs millions of artists on there putting out great material, a lot of which never even makes 1 sale, or breaks 10 plays
if youâre new to the site, the front page is a good place to start. you can pick a genre and scroll thru it. by default it puts popular stuff up front, but iâd suggest looking at new releases
most albums have a âmusic youâll also loveâ section at the bottom of the page, so you can start from one thing and go down a rabbit hole. you can find whole scenes this way
or look at the genre tags that donât show up on the front page! find a sub-subgenre and explore something youâve definitely never heard before. whatâs furrycore? dreamcore? post-hyperpop? progressive extreme metal? melodic juke?
bandcamp also tags music by location. what are ppl in your city making?
going out of your way to find new music can make an artistâs day, or turn you on to something you wouldnât normally go for. think about it
i didnt mention one of the siteâs biggest selling points, which is that the money u spend on there goes directly to the artist. bandcamp gets a 30% cut, which is beyter than any other deal out there. definitely better than the 99.99% cut spotify takes.
but that was on purpose. i wanna let ppl know that bandcamp is the place to be, as a music fan, if you want to hear underground independent music
bandcamp is kinda in danger of being only used by musicians. like an extension of the joke abt irl gigs: itâs just a bunch of musicians handing each other 20 dollar bills.
to me, as someone who loves the wierd, edgy side of electronic music, bandcamp is more than that. itâs where u go to be part of music scenes in the internet era. especially post 2020
indie musicians and laptop musicians and garage musicians and local musicians are making the best damn songs youve never heard rn
you can also plug your spotify playlists into this tool called Merch Table to find artists on there who have bandcamps â itâs a great way to get started owning and compensating artists for the music you already listen to and love!
another important tidbit is bandcamp fridays! on these designated days, 93% of your money reaches the label/ artist. when you buy on any other day, an average of 82% reaches the label/ artist. already awesome and made even BETTER on bandcamp fridays.
isitbandcampfriday.com has a timer for when the next BC friday is!
The Sun rises over Earth in a postcard illustrated by Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov, recalling the 1965 mission when he became the first human to walk in space.
Alexei Leonov was a prolific and talented artist, and drew and painted many pictures inspired by his experiences in space
This particular picture is rather special though, because he drew the first draft for it while in space using coloured pencils he took with him:
https://www.theguardian.com/science/2015/aug/31/first-picture-space-cosmonauts-science-museum-alexei-leonov
The first walk in space coincided with the first art in space. Humans literally canât not do art
my dude Alexei made some insanely cool space art
As I pulled myself back toward the airlock, I heard Pasha talking to me: âItâs time to come back in.â I realized I had been floating free in space for over 10 minutes. In that moment my mind flickered back for a second to my childhood, to my mother opening the window at home and calling to me as I played outside with my friends, âLyosha, itâs time to come inside now.â
