ok so it was still wrong lol. thats the distance formula at²/2 thats distance travelled while accelerating velocity is just v = at. distance travelled is the area under the velocity curve and acceleration is the slope of that curve. so my ∆v calculations are wayyyy lower than it actually should be since thats actually meters travelled while under (constant) acceleration in a vacuum. redoing the equations it might just be worth it to start with acceleration a = f/m and take the first and second integral of that from 0 to t1
