With love and respect. No you're not. What you are is complicit. Doing nothing in the face of these things is not a sign of weakness or being pathetic. And it is far from fundamental.
But you actively benefit from the war in iran, as americans. The fact your country can bomb any country of the world with no consequence means you can go anywhere in the world and act however you want with no consequence.
It means your salaries are higher than the rest of the world, which means you can exploit the rest of the world for their labour.
It means you can start and finish primary, secondary and higher education with no interruptions and have it recognised by the rest of the world. Etc... etc...
And all of these are privileges that depend on american violence. And they are so convenient you take these things for granted. But they are not granted.
And any action to prevent the killings of the people from the rest of the world means putting at risk all of these privileges you have, that nobody else has.
And the lack of action to prevent the killings of the people from the rest does not come from weakness and being pathetic. It comes from it being convenient. It comes from the fact that if you do nothing, your future generations are still going to be part of the most powerful nation in the world.
And when you refuse to take action, because these killings are convenient, what you are is complicit.
The people from iran and anyone else fighting against American Imperialism don't do it because they are strong and unpathetic. They do it because they dont have the luxury of innaction. Innaction is not convenient. It is humiliatimg and degrading it guarantees a worse life for their future generations. It guarantees a loss of dignity, a worse recognition of their labour, education, culture and values, a dispossession of land, etc etc all of which are of direct benefit to the american people.
