The only way forward is to stop treating masculinity as synonymous with harmful, monstrous, or dangerous.

There is a fundamental difference between "men are dangerous" (wrong, bioessentialist) and "the patriarchy allows dangerous men to exist unchecked" (true).

Lovely men are so lovely; really, one of my favourite things. Like, they’ve looked at this whole system designed to flatter and adore them and puff them up, and gone, “Well that’s clearly going to bend me out of shape in awful ways and, more importantly, do unspeakable harm to the non-men in my life and more generally, I think I’ll opt out.” And I think that’s lovely and to be warmly encouraged. Really, boys, very attractive, do more of that.
