They say that sudden, intense cravings for very specific foods are usually a sign of a vitamin deficiency. If so, that I'm presently making myself french toast, scrambled eggs, and a bacon and cheese sandwich at 11:45 PM must mean the vitamin I'm missing is grease.

Not to put too fine a point on it but Fat is a macronutrient. Like you need a lot more mass of it every day than all the vitamins combined. Like haha funny post but no really Fat is a nutrient yes your body is craving vitamin grease.

and to just cut off the fatphobic pseudo science at the root: fat is GOOD for you, food does not transmute from the substance of the thing in the animal to the substance in your body. Even protein breaks down many complicated somethings into a block you can turn into many other complicated somethings. Fat is good. Fat gets dunked in acid automatically to break down, it will not increase your overall body fat through ancient wizard magic.

this myth is why it's illegal to have delicious tasting yogurt in the grocery store because people were sold the myth that "fat isn't good for you" just like "starch" "grains" "specific meat type" "the concept of energy itself (calories)" "sugar" "oil" etc etc

this is a dead horse at this point, but I do get a little annoyed when people say that I’m trying to emulate Terry Pratchett and failing, because I’ve never been a big discworld person. don’t misunderstand, I have a huge amount of respect for the guy! I think he’s a genius! but the humour has just never clicked for me personally.

you may be familiar with disney twisted wonderland, the gacha game in which various disney villains are used as direct inspiration for handsome anime boys. well that game was so successful that disney is trying to do it again but this time they're just animeboyifying whatever

here's mickey, goofy, donald, and chip & dale. yeah they turned mickey & friends into anime boys. they're an idol unit or something. they're technically not anime boy versions of the source characters, they have different names. mickey's guy is "Neo Michel". not michael, michel, like he's french. chip & dale are "Ruska Moncrief" and "Ranka Monk", they have different last names, they're not brothers anymore so that they can be yaoibait instead, anyways this post isn't actually about these guys I'm just setting the stage for the actual humanizations I wanted to show you

Doing Final Fantasy V Four Job Fiesta. I've thought about doing it several years before but never quite got motivated enough to actually do it. My jobs were knight.... berserker.... ninja.... chemist. Really grateful for chemist as I had no healing abilities. I was buying stacks of 99 regular ass potions even though they don't have enough healing potential to use in battles. Like this was original flavor Final Fantasy I or something. Not sure how my only source of elemental damage being ninja scrolls is going to work out toward the end of the game, but it hasn't been a problem yet. I think one character is going to be a dodge tank. have main gauche plus elven mantle plus cover plus maybe ninja !image command. basically unhittable. I think this works?

I am two thirds of the way through. I have mastered the four jobs allowed to me. And guys, I'm thinking this is a suboptimal way to play this game.
