Both interested in knowledge: the Slytherin for a specific purpose, and the Ravenclaw just for the sake of knowledge. 

The Slytherin would love if when the Ravenclaw uses their intelligence creatively or cunningly, very attracted to their partner’s mind

The Ravenclaw would love the Slytherin’s ambition, and would be inspired by them to do something great with their own life and knowledge

Super long conversations and debates into the night. Sometimes the debates are about important things, sometimes the most trival things in the world

With the Ravenclaw’s logic and the Slytherin’s cunning, they could 100% take over the world if they wanted to

Capable of accomplishing so much together 

Talking about logic and cunning, those traits would lead to some very long chess games with a lot of tactics and strategy

So (according to the concept art book) as the Fellowship travels deeper into Middle Earth, the places they pass through become inspired by progressively older periods of history. The farther along you are in the story, the more ancient the design influences

We begin in The Shire: which feels so familiar because, with its tea-kettles and cozy fireplaces, it’s inspired by the relatively recent era of rural England in the 1800s

But when we leave Hobbiton, we also leave that familiar 1800s-England aesthetic behind and start going farther back in time. 

Bree is based on late 1600s English architecture

Rohan is even farther back, based on old  anglo-saxon era architecture (400s-700s? ce)

Gondor is way back, and no longer the familiar English or Anglo-Saxon: its design comes from classical Greek and Roman architecture

And far far FAR back is Mordor. It’s a land of tents and huts: prehistoric, primitive, primeval. Cavemen times

And the heart of Mordor is a barren lifeless hellscape of volcanic rock…like a relic from the ages when the world was still being formed,  and life didn’t yet exist

And then they finally reach Mount Doom, which one artist described as 

“where the ring was made, which represents, in a sense, the moment of creation itself”

Fantasy Ikea - A vast and echoing hall presided over by a fairy lord turned legitimate merchant (or so they claim!), this oddly sedate bazaar’s household goods – carefully labelled in Old High Elvish – are apparently wholly mundane, though their purchasers often discover unexpected features later on. While it’s relatively safe as fairy markets go, mortal customers are advised against eating the complimentary meatballs.

Fantasy Lowe’s - Originally the headquarters of a dwarven crafting guild set apart from their fellows by their affinity for working in wood rather than stone, this establishment has since grown into a sprawling combination lumberyard and trading post whose workers spend as much time advising on outside projects as attending to their own. Oddly, the guild’s membership is nearly exclusively female, a fact that non-dwarf customers often miss on account of the beards.
