I'm about to combust because THAT is literal hate encouragement like hello?!?
I think you already know who I'm referring to.
But like seriously, how can some people be SO low in reality but still act like they are right and they should be respected.
And the fact that that blog has people siding with it?! Oh how far have we fallen.
You know what girlie? Since they said that "you posted on public so expect hate" well, how about a taste of your own medicine? If I made a tier list of writers as just people, they wouldn't even make it to tier F or anything lower than that if it existed.
That blog is literally normalizing hate and harassment, I wouldn't be surprised if I found out they're the psychos who send death threats to people they're jealous of and be the reason so many lives were lost.
Not to mention the comments on the ranking post were all so respectful (surprisingly I was among them) just to prove that hate is unnecessary, but that blog NEEDS a professional hater to put them in their place.
But it's as you said, they're just begging for attention, desperate for a scrap of it after their own works didn't appeal to the readers.
Anyway stay safe gg! If someone ever sent hate to you just ignore them or let me at 'em.
Thank you for the concern and for looking out for me. It means a lot seeing so many people looking out for writers and for each other.
I think what gets me the most isn't even the criticism itself. People are allowed to dislike things. That's normal. What's concerning is when criticism starts crossing the line into encouraging harassment, dogpiling, or treating real people like they're not human beings.
That said, I really don't want people going after them either.
At the end of the day, the entire reason I started talking about this is because I've seen what happens when fandom drama spirals out of control. People get hurt, writers leave, friendships get damaged, and suddenly a hobby that's supposed to be fun becomes stressful for everyone involved.
So while I absolutely understand the frustration, I'd rather everyone save their energy. Block, report if necessary, and move on. Nothing annoys people seeking attention more than being ignored.
And honestly? The thing that makes me happiest isn't the drama. It's seeing how many people in this community have been kind, supportive, and willing to stand up for each other. That's the part worth focusing on.
As for the hate messages, don't worry too much about me! I've been on the internet long enough to know that some people will spend more time obsessing over strangers than I spend writing my actual stories. If anything, it's more confusing than upsetting at this point.
Thank you for checking in, though. Please take care of yourself too, and don't go fighting people on my behalf lol 💖✨
