Enter the problem. Melanie came back in the most recent episode and I am delighted, but immediately following that the art started flowing in. And far be it from me to dictate how a person draws - I find all artists talented and amazing because that is a skill I just don’t possess - but like....google is free.

A search of even the most basic terms will show you what a white cane looks like and how tall they should be. A weight bearing cane with a curved handle? Functionally useless. You should NOT be able to easily hold both the top of your cane and bottom at the same time, cuz the ideal white cane should be like 4-6 inches shorter then you are tall.

It’s just incredibly clear to me (#actuallyblind) and anyone who has actually interacted with a visually disabled person (enter my ever patient soulmate) when people are drawing based on references like Matt Murdock (those goddamn sunglasses will haunt me forever) or based on no reference at all.
