Being an insomniac on Google classroom is so funny because you’ll get an email at oh-dark-hundred and you check the sender and it’s your teacher, so then when you click is and it starts to load you place bets in your head as to whether the notification is from a prescheduled classroom notification or if you’re teacher’s as broken as you.

I have a dnd character idea
Basically, it’s an earth genasi paladin, but let me explain the backstory and hopefully you’ll know what I’m going for
So, she has the acolyte background because she was raised in her goddess’s temple, but she was actually a human when she was raised. However, after an incident with a rageful god, she was, as an act of mercy, turned into a pillar of crystal and moonrock (as an homage to her goddess). When the rageful god came to his senses, he felt remorse and poured his sacred wine on her, returning her to life, however in this new earthen body. She continued her life as a paladin of her goddess trying to prevent anything like what happened to her from happening to other young women.
Other fun facts/concepts that of course I would confirm with my dm:
Because of the “blessing” of the tasteful God, she is immune to various poisons and immune to being drunk or high
The blessing of her goddess made her immune to being charmed by men and resistant to being charmed by anyone else
I haven’t decided but she either needs no/reduced sleep and is immune to sleep magic (think elves) or is no longer able to dream as she sleeps. This is due to the fact that when her life was returned to her, it was by gods who didn’t understand some of those specifics about being mortal, such as sleep or dreams for anything other than just sending and receiving messages
Anyway please tell me someone gets this reference, I know my dnd group absolutely will not know what I’m stealing from and I’m desperate to have validation
