Hey guys! Not dead. I’m gonna start clearing out my inbox and I’m starting here!

The Prince of Life is the embodiment of dull. Not stupid dull mind you, he could actually be very smart, but he is the teams rules lawyer. He may be lazy, unmotivated, and have the opposite of a green thumb but if there is one thing he can do its this: make rules!

On the power side the Princes primary method of wrecking all the shit is using the power of Life to kill. He can make cells OVERGROW and shut down their host, he can make toxic and murderous plantlife to attack his foes, he can utterly destroy someones energy leaving them lazy and lethargic. He can basically Cancer Beam people. Keep an eye on this guy alright? If he turns you guys will just die off one by one as your own bodies turn against you.

I feel that instead of a revive this Prince would simply wither and disintegrate when he dies and take anyone in range down with him as their Life force is well and truly destroyed.

All in all? Not the best but certainly not the worst (I’m looking at your Bards of Hope and Heart) but I’d say watch this guy and make plenty of precautions. Make everyone God-Tier before him to give yourselves a buffer zone of sorts and if you can don’t let him go God-Tier if at all possible to keep his powers down.

Witch

Type: Change

Role: Active

Task: Manipulate and manipulate through aspect often breaking its rules

Downsides: N/A

Void

Secrets, Lies, Obscurities, The Furthest Ring, and Horror Terrors

Side Effects: Location is obscured from outside methods of viewing (First Guardians, ETC)

The Witch of Void is a very manipulative lady. She goes around moving secrets and abusing the hell out of Void.

The Witch of Void would be one of the few classpects capable of using Dark Sorcery, much like miss Rose, without being first corrupted by the Horror Terrors…though that may happen too. She can even use her Dark Powers to avoid the Horror terrors and even ‘punch’ for a lack of a better term her way through the Furthest Ring.

The Witch would act like an information broker but, unlike Aranea who gave information for informations sake, the Witch will find secrets and use them to bend people to their whim. This Witch is the most likely to develop a cult if the scenario presents itself which is quite fitting considering the Title. 

All in all a powerful combat character and possible leader/support if those two roles remain empty.

Knight

Type: Exploit

Role: Active

Task: Help the Space player breed frog

Downside: Session usually lacks aspect

Light

Information, luck, literal light, and Skaia

Side Effect: Location is visible to any and all who wish to view you (First Guardians, etc)

ALL HAIL THE LIVING FLASHBANG…ahem Knight of Light.

The Knight of Light is a warrior of Light that wields information, light, luck and Skaia itself as a weapon…essentially a critical hit dispenser with a flashing fetish. This guy/gal can fire blasts of luck filled light at his foes to deal damage or use any and all information to wreck shit.

The Knights, arguably, greatest power is the ability to use SKAIA ITSELF as his tool, extracting whatever information he desires with no concern for Skaia’s will. Even if the information is game breaking or even supposed to be taken OUT of the game this Knight and tear out that wee bit of data and learn from it.

The sessions lack of Light would manifest as a mass amount of bad luck, illumination, information on the game, size of Skaia, or all four. To sum it up the Knight is the only competent one in the session.

All in all a very useful Knight with various mighty powers on his own and great frog hunting potential by discovering the fogs location and the process required to breed them.

Sylph

Type: Create

Role: Passive

Task: Heal and heal through aspect

Downside: Tends to meddle too much

Blood

Bonds, unity, friendship, and literal blood

Side Effects: N/A

The Sylph of Blood IS the mom friend of the session: grabbing the bickering members by the ear and making them sort out their problems, and sitting there and listening to the teams problems.

The Sylph of Blood would excel at maintaining team cohesion as their powers passively Heal Blood and Heal through it. This doesn’t mean they can’t just ZAP the problem away but it isn’t recommended as it seems to backfire in canon, though in theory it could work with a fully realized Sylph but I’m just guessing. They would be able to mend the broken bonds of their team making everyone stick together through thick and thin.

On the literal side of Blood the Sylph could, in theory, replace any and all lost Blood in a friend essentially keeping them from bleeding out…you know what? Screw it they CAN and WILL do that as it makes no sense as to why the game would give a player powers they can’t even use! Even the Heir which is one of the more passive classes can through their aspect around…ahem. Sorry went off on a tangent.

All in all a good Sylph and team Mom/Therapist for the team, which every team needs in all honesty, so I’d take them.

Page

Type: Exploit 

Role: Passive

Task: Slowly grow aspect within in order to aid team

Blood

Unity, bonds, friendship, and literal blood

Side Effects: N/A

The Page of Blood is the ultimate unifier…if he reaches his potential if not he would be dead weight.

The Page of Blood would begin with little to no personal friendships and would suck at making them. He/she would also have little to no family members or obligations to bind him and they’d spend the majority of their Time learning how until they became everyones friend.

The Page of Blood would wield the power to give his team unity to unite them and when injured he could just replace any lost Blood. If there was a rift in their team he could simply make a new bond to replace it.

All in all they would be one of the better Blood players as other than the slow growth there is no real downside.

Bard

Type: Destroy

Role: Passive

Task: Allow destruction of or through aspect

Downsides: Unpredictable and dangerous

Time

Destiny, age, decay, and endings

Side Effects: The Scratch Construct will be in their land

The Bard of Time is line with the Bard of Space I did a while ago: cardinal aspect+passive destroyer (or any destroyer)= BAD TIME.

The Timeline…shatters around this guy. As Time goes on the team may begin seeing anomalies appearing: random Doomed versions of themselves popping in and out, suddenly people would age and regress until they eventually died, and rips in Time would open allowing others to jump to a random point in the Timeline.

The Bard of Time would like to build things and study physics, though his structures would rot and break at an exponential rate. Other than all I’ve listed? He can’t do much, he even sucks at telling Time!

All in all bad choice, swap with a Sylph or an Heir in all honesty.

Seer 

Type: Know

Role: Passive

Task: Help team understand and guide through aspect

Downsides: Tends to be over analytical 

Time

Destiny, age, endings, and rhythm 

Side Effects: Always has a Scratch Construct within land

The Seer of Time is like those one aliens from the Bardock movie, you know the ones who yell ‘I CAN SEE THE FUTUREEEE’ in the abridged version. The Seer of Time would see ALL Timelines and know just how to guide his/her team to the desired end.

The Seer of Time would be wracked with prophetic visions throughout the game: random death here, hidden location you need to find here. These visions would keep happening until the Seer God-Tiers and gain better control of them. They would be able to trigger visions on certain subjects and understand just what they mean and how to avoid or reach that end.

This Seer would be able to spot rips in Space-Time and guide their team through them to their destination. They would be great at making stable Time-Loops with all their knowledge on Time bullshittery.

All in all solid Seer with no real downsides.

I know I’ve been a bit behind on my posts and I can explain. Not only has my schoolwork been piling up, but I’ve begun writing a book and most of my creative juices are flowing there so I’ve been burnt out trying to make analyses. This by no means implies that I’m gonna stop or even go on hiatus but time in between posts may take a bit longer than usual.

I can totally analyze your session Anon!

First of all you got an even number of players as well as an even amount of passive and active players, and a Space and Time player as well, so you got a chance…now to list the specifics.

The Bard of Hope is your worst foe in this session. His passive destruction of Hope could lead to MAJOR Doom. Hope is faith, belief, optimism, and Angels. While dead Angels wouldn’t really stop you, those other three are HUGELY important so I’d recommend ditching him.

The Heir and Knight have it easier as the Heirs natural inclination to his aspect, creation and frogs are the big ones for winning the game, and the Knights clones would be a help in the gathering.

The Rogue and Mage would be excellent information gatherers with the Mage doing the actual information gathering and the Rogue allowing the team to understand the info to its fullest. 

The Witch of Time would be all over the place doing god knows what while watching over the Timeline. In all honesty she’s your most immediately dangerous foe if she turns, being able to use the Timeline as she wills, but if she stays good she can be one of the best characters to fill her job.

My verdict? Swap the bard with a Sylph and you’re golden other than that keep and eye on the Witch and make sure she doesn’t do anything crazy.

Muse

Type: Master

Role: Passive

Task: Inspire others to wield your aspect and embody it entirely 

Downsides: Little to no personal power

Time

Destiny, endings, age, decay, and rhythm

Side Effects: Will always have a Scratch Construct in their land

The Muse of Time is an instrument of change. Nothing remains as it is around her, and patience rolls of her in waves inspiring change in her Lord.

The Muse of Time is the passive end of her session, the active being her Lord of Space, and her talent lies in allowing her Lord to realize and wield patience and accept destiny. She may be cool and aloof, acting like the tragedy that befell the world is not of her concern and just doing as fate dictates.

On the power front the Muse gets a bit harder to describe. How does one inspire the use of Time? Can she even Time Travel? Is she useful in any way? I will answer these questions. 

Through inspiring Time she can allow other access to her vast reservoirs of patience and wisdom…and even inspire her Lord to learn how to Time Travel. So long as she is present she can allow the Lord to essentially use her as a gateway through Time, but as a downside she can’t travel herself. 

If she so desires to join her Lord in an alternate Timeline she must construct a Time Machine with items from her land, much like a pre God-Tier Time player. In this sense her Time travel isn’t really her best feature.

Her most potent skill set is in more supportive role, helping her Lord embrace patience and understanding in the place of his gung-ho attitude and whimsical creative tendencies.

All in all? She’s not the best Muse, and a matter of fact could actually Doom her session with a lack of Timeline management, but she has a plethora of her own powers and uses.

Knight

Type: Exploit

Role: Active

Downside: Session usually lacks aspect

Blood

Unity, bonds, friendship, and literal blood

The Knight of Blood is kinda like a drill sergeant to a group of rookie soldiers. Nobody likes to work together and kinda mucks about then this guy barges in and sets them to push ups and shit before making them into battle ready soldiers.

The Knight of Blood would be his teams unifier due to his sessions lack of Blood and as such if he slacks off nothing will get done. His powers are not really all that flashy as he just puts a team together and commands them. They exploit Blood by making and guiding others into doing tasks for him/her. This by no means makes them lazy, quite the opposite, their talents just lay in the commanding role be it natural charisma and battle knowledge…or sheer stubbornness. 

This Knight, post God-Tier, may be capable of weaponizing literal Blood in the form similar to how Mirai Kuriyama from Beyond the Boundary uses her powers, making blades and other constructs out of available Blood. Now unlike the Knight of Heart that can do something similar with something without quantity, the Soul, the Knight of Blood has a limited amount of ammo if they use their own Blood and could end up killing themselves if overused without access to more Blood making the power limited when fighting Underlings as they don’t bleed.

All in all this Knight would be more valued with his non-combat powers in SBURB/SGRUB unless they pull a Garra and carry a container of ammo. They can unify their team and lead them to victory so long as their issues don’t overwhelm them. I’d recommend a Sylph of Heart to get him to realize his self worth and get to his job quicker.
