the quiet things that no one ever knows

This afternoon we are going to visit my mom, do a couple returns, get take out, make zucchini bread (I actually never have but my neighbors gave me huge zucchinis so hopefully it turns out well), and after Ezra goes to bed I’m going to wrap his birthday presents and exercise. It’s a relaxing day off.

Inviting people over last minute is a great way to keep my house clean. Like $&@% now I have to get moving!!!

I love being off work so much (I’m off 4 days in a row which feels glorious) but also I have no idea how stay at home moms do it without losing their minds. Like part of why I love it so much is because I don’t do it every day. But I also realize I’m really lucky to work 13 shifts a month as full time and it’s hard to work long hours but it works for me and I hope it lasts as long as it possibly can.

Does anyone print photos at home? I am looking for a quality printer recommendation. I want to start journaling and print 4x6 photos from my smartphone that aren’t Polaroids. If I wait and send a bunch in to be printed online I never seem to get around to it.
