don't get me wrong, I like the common fanon interpretation of jon's appearance, it's just sometimes you guys really make him look like my mom.
like I can't count the number of times I've seen fanart of that pathetic weird little freak of a man sporting my mother's exact hairstyle and glasses and outfit she would totally wear while experiencing The Horrors.
again, not necessarily a bad thing. just Weird for me.
this is probably not helped by the fact that I'm likely at least somewhat faceblind and have to rely on hairstyles and common accessories to identify people.
but anyways, if you want your Jarchivist Design to be my-mom-Maxxing, then consider drawing him with:
shoulder-length or slightly longer dark hair with white/silver streaks and a medium curl pattern
thin rectangular glasses
wearing a sweater over a collared shirt, or alternatively: Big-Ass Cardigan (+Bonus Points if green (my mom's favourite colour))
