Sketched this last night. It's a scene from 2008 in the history of the world that my comics take place in (the comics themselves take place in the 2300s or 2400s). This is The Observers (an evil alien force in my stuff) starting the war that destroys our society with their attack on Cincinnati, Ohio (specifically this is Columbia Parkway). I decided to have Cincinnati be the first place they destroy because years ago when I originally came up with the War (The Bio-Essence/Shadow Virus Wars) I was living in Cincinnati (though I guess I'm living here again now lol).

This is ancient history by the time that the comics take place, but still a pretty important part of what all has happened on that version of Earth.

Also features one of the only times that I've drawn The Observer's giant mobile base, The Lookout.

Went to my first convention ever this weekend. Botcon 2026. And my lord have I never seen so much Transformers stuff in one place XD nor left with so much Transformers stuff from one place. It was a pretty fun time. Went with someone that's been reading my comics for years when they visited. We drove up to Chicago from Ohio and immediately stopped by the convention center when we got there. Did most of my shopping around the first day. The second day I mostly sat towards the back eating a (overpriced) Hot Dog since I was starving and had nothing to eat that day up til that point while he shopped around for himself. I'm glad I got my shopping done the day before because there were a lot more people on Saturday than on Friday. After eating I started drawing which is where the first picture came from (just a doodle of the spirit of the convention XD ).

Us and the guy's other friend that met up with us there did play the Pinball machines they had (I lasted the longest =P ). Also attended the Panel they had where voice actors from the show read a script that was made for the Convention. Afterwards I told the Announcer for the original cartoon/commercials how much I always loved his voice. The final two pictures are of the stuff that I got there.

All in all, 10/10, would Roll Out again.
