A painting of a nightmare I had recently.
In the dream, my partner and I were following the narrow paths in a dirty hallway with deep pools of water. In the deep water were the bodies of horses, bones and remaining flesh bleached white. We could hear a distant scream behind us that was slowly growing closer.
I've never had a nightmare like. I hope I never do.

An apology
Dear anonymus,
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry that you're so insecure about your art skills, you have to rely on AI to do your bidding.
I'm sorry that you had to make up/invent a flattering summary about my work so you can rip me off of my money (that I don't have btw).
I'm sorry that in our correspondence, you were hurt by my words, but you kept insisting to contact me on Discord (when I stated multiple times I was uncomfortable about that.)
I'm sorry that you have so many clients and yet you only have 10 followers on insta, that your art varies from self-realistic to trolls and goblins, and you have no consistent style at all.
And I'm sorry you're a bonefide clown.
I can't draw either, but do you see me relying on a machine that shouldn't dip its toes in the art space?
No.
"Lance Loves Me" is a great work, but I don't need your superficial praise.
So yes, I am very sorry. I'm sorry on your behalf.
Be better.

#1826 -Â Solanum lycopersicum - Tomato
Most of the species I noted at Lake Richmond the other day werenât natives (pretty much like the Double-banded Plover in that respect) but since I havenât covered most of the species before, I may as well do so now.
I spotted this shriveled weed with rock-hard orange fruit, and was pretty sure it was something in the Solanaceae, but I certainly facepalmed when the AgDept told me it was the best-known Solanaceae in the world.Â
Tomatoes are native to Central and South America, where they were first domesticated as an foodplant at least as early as 500BC. The vines have weak stems and usually need to be supported with a trellis or stake, and the berries have a strong umami flavour. The Mexican Nahuatl word tomatl - âswelling fruitâ or âfat thingâ - became tomato after the Spanish conquest of the Aztecs and the introduction of the plant to Europe. The related tomatillo (Physalis philadelphica and Physalis ixocarpa) is tomate. When the Aztecs started to cultivate the fruit to be larger, sweeter and red, they called the new variety xitomatl - âplump with navelâ or âfat water with navelâ.Â
Franciscan friar Bernardino de SahagĂşn reported seeing a great variety of tomatoes in the Aztec market at TenochtitlĂĄn - â⌠large tomatoes, small tomatoes, leaf tomatoes, sweet tomatoes, large serpent tomatoes, nipple-shaped tomatoes,â and tomatoes of all colors from the bright red to deep yellow. He also noted that they were used in a wide range of dishes.Â
The earliest appearance of the tomato in European literature appeared in Italian physician and botanist Pietro Andrea Mattioliâs 1544 herbal, who suggested that a new type of eggplant (another solanaceous species) that was blood red or golden color when mature and could be divided into segments and eaten like an eggplant - cooked and seasoned with salt, black pepper, and oil. It was not until ten years later that tomatoes were named in print by Mattioli as pomi d'oro, or âgolden applesâ.
In some parts of Europe, it was initially regarded with suspicion because of its close relatives in the Nightshade genus, and because of the way its acidic juice reacted with pewter tablewear. They were still grown as ornamentals.Â
The tomato was introduced to China, likely via the Philippines or Macau, in the 1500s, and was given the name fÄnqiĂŠÂ - âbarbarian eggplantâ.
In 1753, Linnaeus placed the tomato in the genus Solanum (alongside the potato) as Solanum lycopersicum, the specific from the Greek for âwolf peachâ. In 1768, Philip Miller moved it to its own genus, naming it Lycopersicon esculentum, although Linnaeusâs species name lycopersicum still had priority. Lycopersicum lycopersicum was suggested by Karsten in 1888, but the International Code of Nomenclature barred the use of tautonyms in botanical nomenclature. Lycopersicon lycopersicum (Nicolson 1974) was technically valid, but since Lycopersicon esculentum has become so well known, it was officially listed as a nomen conservandum in 1983, and would be the correct name for the tomato in classifications which donât place the tomato in the genus Solanum. So itâs perhaps annoying that genetic evidence indicates Linnaeus was right and it should have stayed Solanum lycopersicum the whole time.
Log.01 1959 doctor ??????: Kajin or kumoji is a hybrid kaiju with the features of a wasp, the features of a centipede and the wings of a butterfly. Kumoji is very interesting to look at..? Kumoji is very intelligent and an interesting creature, I personally have never seen a kaiju like Kumoji. Me and my traveling crew are looking for clues to see where this creature came from or if thereâs anymore like it, but at this time we found nothingâŚ..I sometimes wonder if thereâs more lost kaiju out thereâŚ.anyways..the place me and my traveling crew are at IâŚâŚcanât quite explain but there is a lot of trees..BIG trees you sometimes canât see the top. Anyways I gotta go but Iâll try to record every evidence and clue I have foundâŚ.log end.
Hi.
It's definetly better with a reference
I'm proud of the line art, so here it is without colours :

Just finished reading Lance Loves You, and I can't stop thinking about how visually striking this story is.
Lance has such a memorable horror designâhis sickly yellow skin, blue pompadour, unsettling smile, vintage aesthetic, and the way he can go from calm to terrifying in seconds. Then there's Lauren's gradual descent from confidence to absolute terror, the 1950s dinner scene, the roses, handwritten notes, cameras, pink dress, warehouse... every chapter felt like it was begging to be illustrated.
I honestly think this story could have some incredible character art cinematic scene illustrations or even a horror style cover that captures its psychological atmosphere.
Out of curiosity if you could see one piece of artwork from this story brought to life what scene or character would you choose?
I'm an artist who loves creating character art story illustrations covers and profile pictures so this fic really sparked my imagination.
If you'd ever like to chat about art ideas or possible illustrations for your stories feel free to reach out on Discord lunamarlowe137 I'd be happy to talk more there
I'd appreciate if you never contacted me again. You're an ai artist, and you're trying to scam me. So no, I won't contact you on discord, and plus, you used ai for that flattering-yet-obvious summary. So no, leave me alone :(
Have a blessed day :)
For context, this individual has been messaging me on ao3 and Tumblr, trying to get me to commission them. But their artwork's so fake, like no lol.
Stay away from them at all costs, guys.

Check it out if you wish, but yeah...go away
