Things to consider: For centre features, boarders and diagonal laying patterns these must be decided upon before the construction of your sub structure as additional supports will need to be added for boards laid outside of a uniform pattern.

The Forma board is garnering mass appeal as the consumer comes to realise the superior benefits of this particular composite board. Consumers have used the board on a wide range of project ranging from board walks through to swimming pool surrounds. The Forma composite is robust and able to withstand the harshest elements.

The U-Channel system is the all singing all dancing equivalent of the balustrade world. Available in three metre lengths and which can be teamed with or without a handrail it is a great looking system. The glass is clamped within the channel with the channel being able to be fixed above or below ground to give it an infinity look. Situated to the North of Manchester near the Pennines, Bury has a very damp climate and our composite decking is an ideal alternative to slime ridden and slippy timber decking. We have come up against many projects in bury, one in Walmersley challenged both the design and installation teams. The project utilised steps which led out from the bi-fold doors down to the garden the steps acting as a way to present the client from the bi-fold doors and down to the rest of the garden. The Walmersley project featured our composite newel posts with grade 316 wire running between and through the posts.

The composite deck was finished off with recessed spotlights to make the steps look inviting in the evening as well as guiding the eye down the steps in lowlight conditions. Chief installer Dave Taylor commented on how the steps “were a challenge at first due to the height and width of the steps but once the treated timber frame was installed the steps came to life by the use of charcoal composite boards”.

The balustrade system which utilises grade 316 wire was introduced by Ecoscape in 2015 and has proved hugely popular due to its simplicity and look giving your deck a sleek modern feel. A grade 316 wire balustrade system comprises 4 main components wire, eyebolts, swage terminal and tensioner. All that’s needed to fix the component is a drill and hydraulic crimper which crimps the wire in-between the tensioners.

The Walmersley project was thought out by our Chief Design Engineer Gary Farrell who advised the client on a number of options which would suit the unique project. Glass in between newel posts was an option but the client ultimately liked the look of the wire balustrade system commenting on how it was easier to maintain. The customer was also in two minds as to which colour of composite decking to choose which was either the Autumn board or the Charcoal board. Ultimately the client chose the charcoal composite board due to its striking look when coupled with the correct lighting.

Our installation team are time served with a minimum 10 years experience at decking construction. Any composite deck should be constructed with centres at 400mm to ensure proper support for the composite decking boards as well as minimising springiness in the deck which can occur when centres are constructed wider than 400mm.

Our standard stock composite fencing panels are available in two colours Walnut and Graphite and a number of different sizes ranging from 900mm to 1500mm in height. All standard stock panels are all 6ft wide. The composite fence panels are heavy duty so you can be sure they can handle whatever the elements (or your children) throw at them. These composite fence panels are designed to either fit in between existing concrete posts or they can be fixed using our own composite newels which are available in 2.4m lengths with heavy duty brackets used to hold the fence panels in place. Using a vertical lat design the panels look contemporary and modern but a the same time the style will stand the same test of time as that of the panels themselves. Our bespoke panel making service is also proving to be a big success. This service allows customers to develop any design they like in our ecofriendly long lasting and mainteance free composite material in 4 versatile colours; Cedar, Chestnut, Graphite and Charcoal. We as customers to provide a rough sketch or image of the panel design with measurmnets and we can quote on the spot we can even supply a mock up drawing if requested.

Our Composite screening is a new take on privacy for your garden taking inspiration from Cedar screening but without any of the negative drawbacks of timber . We are maketing the screeing to be made up from individual lengths which are available in four different sizes 90mm x 20mm, 90mm x 10mm, 70mm x 15mm and 45mm x 10mm and all are 2900mm in length. These composite boards are available in four colours Cedar, Chestnut, Charcoal and Graphite. These can be fixed to a frame work however matching composite newel posts are also available and are 2400mm in length, we can also supply aluminium uprights for a more clinical finish. Not only can these new materials be used for screening they also have a multitude of uses from bin stores through to seating areas and even planters. The composite battens are easy to install using our colour coded screws, powder coated to an exact colour match. The composite cedar looks great with a natural tone making it hard to tell the difference to traditional cedar material but with all the added benefits of a composite.

Here at Ecoscape we manufacture and supply a wide range of balustrade systems from composite through to glass, wire and even an aluminium bar system. One of the most popular and cost effective system for your garden is the composite spindle system. The system comprises of Ecoscape newels, handrail and spindles with the sections being available in up to 1.8m in length as regulated by the length of the handrail. This system is ideal if you want to place a barrier between your garden and a deck or if you're looking to have you balustrade system on a balcony or raised deck area.

Following on from the composite balustrade system is the system which utilises our very own composite newels but with glass and clamps in between. The system is a great way to introduce glass to your project if you are on a limited budget being one of the best ways to have glass at a great price. Grade 316 brushed clamps are used to hold the glass in place with four needed for one run of glass. Glass sizes can be 1025mm high by whatever preference the end user wishes for all thats advised is that the panes look even to give it that aesthetic appeal. We also offer another two glass based systems the uber modern looking U-Channel system which comes in three metre lengths and is finished off with a handrail and the spigot system which is a clean looking design attached at the bottom using a grade 316 stainless steel spigot. There is also the option of two other metal systems the stainless steel wire system and the aluminium bar system. Both these systems look great in a commercial or residential setting. The marine grade 316 wire system is easy to install with a tensioner on one end to make the wire taut and an eye bolt on the other with a hydraulic crimping tool used to crimp the wires into the tensioner. The aluminium bar system is available in a number of colours and can be powder coated to give it that extra special touch.

New Zealand Green artificial grass has proved popular since its release with many domestic and commercial customers opting to lay our grass in their outdoor area.
