Seeing the new Doomguy or Marvel Rivals Captain America slowly become the internet's next muscle it-boys is kind of jarring because Garen could pretty easily be receiving the same kind of love if Riot leaned into that kind of appeal half as much as they do with other male champs (who already aren't objectified THAT much, but that's another conversation). Like, sure, he needs a PR makeover and there's a baseline level of (rightful) reluctance people feel towards League in general but beyond that it's the same ballpark, no?
I dunno, it's just odd that Garen ticks basically every box regarding the stern but gentle, heroic muscly himbo archetype that everyone is going insane over these days and Riot just isn't tapped in at all. Give him a real skin (or even better, an ASU, though I realize those don't happen overnight) and make him grow a beard if you have to and just, you know, lock the fuck in. What's the holdup?
Garen isn't academically smart or anything (it's not like he's acing Calculus) but his handwriting is probably impeccable. Those strong ass hands have better control of the pen than a printer.
