From Rachel Talalay on Bluesky. Say what you will about the finale (I personally loved it), knowing that this has been going on for her, I hope generates some empathy in the fandom. Especially about her comments that might be seen as glib or unsympathetic. She was in a shit position professionally and now personally is going through the worst loss imaginable. I saw that she was with her partner for 40 years. This coming year will be 20 with mine and I cannot fathom life without them and how I would begin to function, let alone comment on my professional work.
