What is his personal goal as the last survivor of a dwindling race, the Avgin? Why does a man who was chosen by (sorry it says 愉悦の運命 which might be 'the fate of Elation' but don't quote me on this) set out on the path of Preservation? It is said that the Avgin people always avenge their enemies and die with pride. In a world where his people are no longer with him, he is 'preparing'.

So much for my 'Aventurine chose Preservation because deep down it fits him' interpretation 🥲

He confronts Sunday, the de facto representative of Penacony. However, due to the "betrayal" of his old friend, Dr Ratio, Aventurine is cursed and finds himself in a difficult position

Now. I'm not saying that this was because someone writing these lines saw online comments about how 旧知の仲 is not really canon because it was written by the Famitsu staff and not mentioned by Hyv staff in the interview
