shane and ilya sharing the mundane moments together. brushing their teeth next to each other in the bathroom, putting away groceries, cleaning the house, walking anya, going for a swim, sitting on the couch and watching a movie, shane brushing ilya's hair, ilya helping shane to put lotion on after getting out of the shower, talking to each other while the other one is showering, showering together, cooking together, slow dancing in the kitchen, doing puzzles together while they're listening to music or a podcast, watching a movie together, taking silly pictures of each other they don't have to delete anymore, shane doing yoga while ilya and anya are watching him, shane buying ilya flowers or other little thing because he thought he might like them, them deciding which photos of them to frame and place in their home, them watching a movie and talking about it the entire time, ilya massaging shane's feet when they are watching a movie on the couch, ilya and shane whispering nonsense and laughing and telling stories in bed before actually falling asleep, them sleeping in, ilya counting the freckles on shane's face, shane tracing all of ilya's moles and birthmarks, ilya resting his hand on the back of shane's neck, shane kissing ilya's temple, ilya kissing shane's knuckles, shane opening the door for ilya, making their bed, kissing each other whenever they want, ilya telling shane how much he loves his smile and the way his eyes crinkle and their color when the sun hits them but also when they are lying in bed and it's almost too dark to see but his eyes are still shining so brightly somehow, shane telling ilya how beautiful his face looks when his curls fall around his eyes and how it almost has the color of honey sometimes, shane being the big spoon, ilya warming his hands on shane's chest and shane complaining about it but never wanting him to stop doing it, shane rubbing his feet together like a little cricket when they are in bed together, them being best friends, them being so incredibly in love, them telling each other memories from their childhoods, ilya and shane talking about all the moments they already knew they loved each other, ilya and shane talking about their future together because how can they not? now that they actually have one ahead of them
