#myilya gets his first depressive episode one or two years after irina dies. he's away from russia in some sprt of hockey camp. he tells himself he's just being lazy, he just has to get his head more into hockey. his mom used to watch him play when he used to do it for fun. #myilya doesn't know this is how his mother used to feel, like the world is caving in and there is nothing you can do. it's the first time he doesn't think of himself as the little boy who's supposed to rescue laika. it's the first time that he wonders how laika must've felt when she died so far away from home in a place she didn't know, on a mission she didn't choose to go on
