Idk why but Daemon's new wig and styling is giving me big Viserys vibes.
Not to whine and complain - who am I kidding lol - but why couldn't Gunn just push Superman 2 out to 2028? Why does Batman have to be delayed again?

The show won't do this but it would be kind of chewy to have Gwayne turn away from Criston because he doesn't want to go down that dark path and so he goes to what light he remembers - Daeron. But when he gets there, Daeron has already been shoved down his own dark path and Gwayne realizes that there's no real way out. So he does what he can to save his kid's soul and ends up losing his own in that desperation.
We had a whole ass scene of Rhaenyra's men terrorizing the smallfolk and yet only the Greens get the N*zi comparison from the director.
Why am I still surprised by this stuff?
The way Alicent went on about how Ormund liked to read and study and write songs - girl, you shoulda sent your second weirdo boy to him. Ormund and Aemond would have gotten a big kick out of each other and fed into each other's crazy so well.
Just a reminder - the Hightowers HAVE to hide Tessarion in the sept. They're still protecting Daeron's identity so they have to hide the dragon in a place where she won't be spotted. Especially now that Hugh is watching.

Rhaena is definitely taking the name Nettles, I can see it coming a mile off.
The second half of the episode was stronger than the first half. If I didn't know that Ormund was out the door in the finale, I'd be really seated for this second usurption plot.
Gwayne is not going to recognize Daeron when he arrives at Tumbleton. This Hightower plot is so good.
Just as long as Ormund doesn't actually physically assault Daeron, we're good. I'm eating up this crazy with a spoon.
The "Baratheon" assassin that is going to be showing up at Tumbleton...who are they after? Ormund or Daeron?
Whoever they are actually after, they are most certainly not expecting Gwayne to be there.
this is hands down the cuntiest outfit in the show so far. and i wonder, if ormund is serving this much cunt in KL, how much more extravagant he must've been in oldtown?

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot to death in Houston, Texas, USA, by ICE agents earlier this week, on July 7th. Araujo was 52, and was in the process of completing his citizenship authorization in the United States. He was family man who was deeply dedicated to his wife and three children, and supported his coworkers at their construction company without fail. He was assaulted by ICE during a traffic stop and, according to ICE, fled while using his car as a deadly weapon, justifying his murder. As there is currently little to no civilian footage of the murder and ICE has complete control of the narrative, holding ICE to the fire will be exponentially harder than the murders of Renée Good and Alex Pretti.
May Araujo, and all others terrorized by ICE and the United States, find peace and justice
