Folks think that having even one opinion that matched with radqueers, makes you radqueer. Which just isn't true.

As an adult, I was convicted of a sex crime. In my mind I believed it was consensual, until I got treatment. It's my fault for not seeking out help sooner. It's my fault for causing harm.

I realized how harmful it was to be in the radqueer community and so I left all the friends I had there. It was all for the best and I'm in a much healthier place, and being arrested was the best thing to have happened to me.

However, I feel immense shame and anger at myself. It's better that I don't forgive myself though. People around me say their proud of who I am today. But, I can't shake the feeling I'm less than human.

Irradiatequeer is made to opposes radqueer AND radnormal, being against radicalism on either side.

Irradiatequeer opposes the "radicalism" of either, by being irradiate. "Irradiate" is meant to act as a stand-in for words such as "unradical" or "non-radical", and be separate enough from "radical" to make a shortening of the blankqueer not sound similar to either.

Irradiatequeer opposes the pressure to be "normal", especially as a replacement for the word "queer", despite the double meaning of "queer" including "weird".

This label is made in unity of all sides, wanting what's best for everyone involved, though still holds the knowledge that either side of radicalism can become dangerous due to the bias, the disconnect. This label is pro-recovery, believing that even the "best" beings mess up and deserve forgiveness and a chance.

Pro endo. I believe CDDs and plurality are different things, CDDs are disorders, plurality is an identity.

Other than that, I do believe the DSM and ICD talk about how alters may not always mean somebody is disordered. With CDDs you need some level of functional or social impairment, if you do not have that, you will not be diagnosed. I also believe in functional multiplicity, which means somebody having non-disordered alters can absolutely happen.

There is no evidence one way or the other, but I personally choose to believe in folks experiences. Aphantasia was discovered in the 1800s, but was only scientifically proven recently, you do not always need scientific proof if so many individuals say they have the same experience.

I do however believe endogenic plurals should be more mindful of their use of medical terms. I do not believe every endogenic plural has alters, but they may have headmates, and I do not believe every endogenic plural functions as a system.

That being said, I do not mind if anti endos or endo criticals interact with my blog. I try not to participate in syscourse, and will include asks from anti endos.
