Say what you will about Sorkin but the thing they do in “the newsroom” where they play out several hours of a day including multiple personal plot lines that take up 85% of the episode and then someone reacts to a piece of news and as they’re explaining the situation a date shows up on the screen of a true event and you put everything into context that lives are lived before and during and after disasters - is really fucking cool

This is my take on the second generation of the tbbt gang aka the kids (this won't include penny and leonard's kid simply because i don't fully agree with that ending for them)

Halley Wolowitz

As the oldest, she is the mum of the group. With her mother's acertive personality, she is a natural born leader who takes responsability very seriously. A buisness or comunications major. While she is very protective of her brother and (fake) cousins, it is with them that she feels most at ease, being able to be more silly. Since the day that the youngest Cooper was born, she gained a sister and a confidant.

Michael Wolowitz

His father had no need to be worried about having a son because he created a mini him. Michael tries to pass this image of a overconfident player, but you are very likely to find him at the comic book shop or playing a video game. Leonard is his best friend, although he sometimes gets jealous that the younger guy is cooler than him. His relationship with Halley is based on her making fun and looking out for him, while he secretly looks up to her.

Leonard Cooper

The jock with a heart of gold. Feared and loved by his performance on the ring, he is actually just a shy guy who got his parents' intelligence. A hopeless romantic (thanks to his parents love story) who is always stuck between his two passions. Fiercely loyal to his best friend and both the biggest supporter and annoyance of his younger sister.

Sophia Cooper

The extra loved and protect baby of the group, who considers herself the black sheep. Instead of a natural inteligence, she was born a natural performer. Singing, dancing and acting on stage are the places were she feels most at home. Because of this, she often becomes the obcessed artist trope to try and show that if she is perfect at what she does, she can compensate for her lack of passion in school subjects. Other hobbies involve activism and kissing girls.
