I have been working on edits to the text and revisions to the illustrations of The Invisible Palace all day. I stepped away from the entire piece a few months ago to let it gestate (a terrible word for an annoying process!), and it is so true that looking at it with fresh eyes makes all the difference. I am so reinvigorated and excited to share it with you. I have always dreamt of publishing a project like this and this one has been in the making for a long, long time.

These illustrations come from the beginning of the beginning and the end of the end. On the left, Jane and Princess Jessaline are escaping the city to go on the run with a band of pirates. On the right, Jane and one of those pirates return to the ship after everything goes very, very not according to plan.
