So like controversial take, why do people get so angry over a cartoon, toys and what people like?

Example: I dislike ships like Elitaxoptimus although in some continuities, its canon, (but as I watch more tf content I may change my mind), but imma not gonna treat you like garbage for it or straight up hate your guts

I am still new to this fandom and found it unsettlingly toxic, especially regarding 'woke culture' I may be biased as I am part of said 'woke community' but given how old this franchise IS I'd expect most fans to be adults even with things they do not agree with. This is in reference to mostly idw and earthspark. Especially earthspark 🫩

Totally cool you don't like these continuities especially if yall are more 'traditional' but attacking and treating people who like it like shiet is 2 year old behaviour.
