A collection of Transformers comics about Starscream Redemption Arc (and other related development).

After a insane moment of deep diving into Transformers Fandom, me and my GF were starting plotted ideas, headcanons and incorrect quotes on characters and series.

And that’s how “The Deal” was born.

“The Deal” is a collection of fan comic that takes places in Transformers Prime, adding some G1, Armada & IDW continuity (And something from Aligned Novels & War for Cybertron but with restraint since aligned continuity is a fragging caos)

-> Premises: Since nobody (canonically) has actually give us a good or finished redemption arc for Starscreamending ( UPDATE: Yes, I consider Skybound a great redeption arc but... 🥲) , we’ll gonna do it. A dirty work, but somebody has to do it, isn’t?

We’ve already quite planned the story, my GF helped me sorting ideas and instructed me how to use Tumblr to collect the shorts, the funny quotes and the main narrative (and the Starscream's cat narrative and the Sparkling narrative), with this wonderful thing called Master Post (That we'll call the Headmaster Post, to stay canon). °"THE CAT DEALER" ° Starscream, after went to Autobots HQ, adopt a cat (which is not tecnically a cat, but...) Not Canon 4 "The Deal". °SPARKLING DEAL" ° After a request from GF (@wk17), and the other askmeanything and other ideas, I indulge in giving Sparklings to Optimus\Starscream\Skifire. No, Starscream is not the carrier, Yes Starscream is the Sire. Not Canon 4 "The Deal" -> °"MEGATRON FALLS HARD"° Well... a sort of deranged crack! divergent from "The Sparkling Deal" in which Megatron, due to some Starscream schemes, thinks that interfaced with Ratchet (but was Makeshift) and now has fallen hard for the medic. A story in which Shockwave is very tired. °"IS NOT CANON!" DEAL*° You ask a lot about details and spoilers about "The Deal", so we have to make an "agony aunt" space where our beloved mechs reply, explain and do things not in canon but still talks about the canon story. °"THE GLASS DEAL" I indulge in the idea that I could find some time to draw more about a Shattered Glass Version of the Deal, so I will post here what I can manage to draw.

Funny to say, I never posted my take on this famous illustration here on Tumblr (And is like one of the first things I drawn abt Transformers). So I thought it was a good moment to remember that I am gay as fuck a proud member and ally of LGBTQ+ community (I would have been strange otherwise). Also, a small thanks to TF community that is canonically and fandomically very queer and welcoming (ofc exception are anywhere but still one of the nicest and most comfortable community I'd ever been). Also, yesterday was 2 june, is the Festa della Repubblica in Italy. The day commemorates the 1946 Italian institutional referendum held by universal suffrage, in which the Italian people were called to the polls to decide on the form of government following the Second World War and the fall of Fascism.

Well, I suppose that we're talking about TFP? I can say I like the "arguing" dynamic in the TFP (Wheeljack quite had the "provoking flirt" with A LOT of different mechs in Prime, that's crazy) but more for a flirt than a serious thing. I can see them like the "we tried, we had a sparkling, we divorce. Yes we still work together and we both love our child, but please no more." from both sides XD. I ship them more in a G1 setting with them creating Dinobots and a more soft frelationship. Buuuuut since I consider Dinobots sons of them in G1, I leave you here some random concept for a disastragic union of the two in Prime. Welcome "Calcaterra*" inspired from 4x4 Jeep Rock Crawler. *is something like "walking the earth", Wheeljack fault.

The child has a very strong curiosity for exploring and repairing (expert in power up gears for traveling)... a sort of globetrotter in the heart <3. Surprisingly, he doesn't inherit neither the grumpy mood of Ratchet or the defiant behaviour of Wheeljack, but has a very gentle manners. His dads sides show up only when he went unheard or argued and after being veery gentle, patience and accommodating :> Then he became a sarcastic piece of shit (and could totally disassemble you in a click). Once he tried to become an iconic figure for Autobots, but went a little wrong.

BONUS: as preframe moments with a very "I don't trust Wheeljack for this, better bring him on work" or "We're going to devorce when you'll get the sparkling stage" moment.

1)Did Optimus and Skyfire take plenty of photos every time Starscream been beautified by the sparkling?

2) when Starscream or anyone who’s been a target went to wash off the crayons how many times do they have to jump back in to the washrack just because they found more somewhere they didn’t see it before hand.

3) who’s been targets other then Starscream during the Crayon phase cause I don’t think the Sparklings would’ve made it easy to avoid their beautiful work of make up/ Art.

So, usually the pic maker is Miko, so I think that she's the resource of many bots. Skyfire often ask her with very good results. (On the other side, Optimus is too honest to take those pictures... also a little too much adult).

2) Like the entire autobot HQ is afflicted by crayon's phase of the sparklings. Mechs like Ultra Magnus manages to avoid to be sketched at least on the face,but often finds with strange scribbles pedes. Ratchet, on the other side, manipulate often the childrens, ended to be decorated often and on "unseen" places.

3) Bots like Smokey, Bulkhead and Bee let the babies do whatever. Bee is like "OHHHH CUUUUTE!" and cannot resist. (Bot's like Arcee and Wheeljack let the sparklings do, but they really felt embarassed if seen by other mechs)

Well, I'm more of the idea that sparklings receive some kind of virus and uploads with cna donor session. If sparklings are like a sort of device with small RAM, could be that cna download are quite heavy for them causing them to can't do nothing while downloading. Soooo, the stress is all on cna donors\parents that watch sparklings immobilize in the process! Some mech handle that better than other, sometimes lulling and singing to the sparkling (usually more soothing themselves but is very useful anyway to stabilize the data transfer).

And then there's Starscream.

YES.

Sooo, tragic bot is tragic. I kept the concept of Pharma forced to do horrible things to stay alive under Optimus Prime ranks. Also Ratchet is not very happy of being forced to do bad things, but he actually doesn't care very much of mechs that being tortured or dismantled under his knife. On the other side, Pharma is deeply traumatized of what he's doing and suffers of loss of color paint, like he's slowly vanishing for stress and pain. BUT ofc I cannot stop here, so take some more drama and plot:

Before Optimus Prime conquered Cybetron, Pharma works in Ratchet Hospital and helped many desperate mechs... but also was very kind to drones (vehicons) which were even treatened worst than others (HEH this also in Canon Prime if you think of it). One day he founded a almost deadctivated drone and repair it. That drone was D-A-111-0-5, then nicknamed by Pharma as Damus and they become friend. "Casually", that drone guided the rebellion of drones, guiding them in the fight for their rights as individuals and sentient beings. And "casually", that drone will become known as "Tarn", the destroyed city fooled by Autobots, changing its frame (and pick inspiration by Solus became a She) but keep up his old faceplate as mask as symbol of the revolution (drawing Megatronus faceplate makeup). (Take also a Nickel as gift XD)

Since Ratchet is actually affectionate to Pharma, he managed to contact Tarn (thanks to Megatronus) and planning a Decepticon Justice Division extraction operation for the VERY stressed Pharma. (take a sheHelex and her four arms in the precise moment of "saving a medic")

And yes, after some embarassed start, Drift seen in Megatronia a quite skilled and gifted warrior and give her some lessons (buuut I'm not sure Ratchet would approve that her daughter got trained as sparkling).

Anyway, Drift's pupils are not so... enthusiastic.

Young Drift (wich was old inside) VS Old Drift (wich clearly entered his middle age like he reformatted his entire processors, software and hardware).

Aka Drift ascending to the "I will absolutely spoil* the daughter of my sparkdestinated one".

And his other sons are like "Dad are we a joke?"
