Holy shit I love the way they told the story of Magnus and Lestat

First we have Lestat telling the camera how he wasn’t traumatized, how he understood his maker, then making the whole thing into a hilariously bad music video

Then we have the hallucinations in the car. Magnus calling him a coward for hiding the real story, showing just how traumatized he still is. I mean, centuries later, Lestat being… well, the Lestat that we know, YET HE STILL PRAYS IN TERROR AT THE SHEER MEMORY OF MAGNUS

And THEN we have the parallel between him and Claudia, memories of his turning playing as Louis kills Bruce
