Like D&D uses 5ft squares. My whole condo is only about 40 spaces total. Just the combatants in the party in the game I'm running tonight take up 15 squares. Add in a few enemies and over half the available space is occupied before we even account for furniture. Not exactly a lot of room for dynamic, flowing combat and movement!

goddd real..i remember starting when i was around 6ish i would often consider reincarnation. what if it was real but i had to be a boy in every life. i would think about this just to freak myself out for horror-movie-type funsies because goddd wouldnt it suck if i just never got to know what it would be like to be a girl like most of my closest friends at the time.. i remember how on this inexpressible and highly suppressed level i was so envious of how fun and exciting they were to be around. this whole other brighter looking world. this whole different experience that felt entirely closed off to me. i remember singing in music class around that time. sitting next to my best friend at the time, a girl who i had had over to my house more often than anybody else i knew. we were singing this song that went like 'forever friends, forever you and me, forever, ever and always will be' and i remember looking over at her, but she was looking at another girl to her left. and it was just this sort of microcosm. not fitting in in the way i wanted to. feeling distant from the girls i was friends with even if we got along really well in general. its funny to be writing about this because of the way writing makes for looser memories..stephen king remarked on this phenomenon in billy summers..i remember being at daycare around that time. there were these two or three girls who i would just hang out and chat with in this little nook most days. i specifically remember one day i was like. 'first can i just say i think its funny how we always end up here'. it must have been such a steady routine. i had felt so at home with them. so much more than with any of my guy friends, if i had any there. i cant even remember having many good times with any of the other boys at that daycare. if i did i know it just felt like business more than somebody i was excited to see each day. i dunno it just felt super wonderful to have girl friends and i was never that interested in putting effort into being friends with the other boys. but i would just have to be a boy in this life, and then hopefully in a later one i could try out being a girl. the wrong-switch would be flipped all normals and i could be happy and excited to be myself, even if i wouldnt remember this current one, even if it wouldnt mean anything to the me who has to deal with this unpronounceable feeling right now. im glad i dont think about reincarnation and future lives so much these days. im glad i ended up finding exactly what i needed in this one:)
