so first of all, let’s make it clear im attacking americans as a social group and not you specifically, random american person who may be reading this. and im also not questioning that a lot of you reading this are descriminated against in the US or just suffer from the failings of the American system. this post was not about how it’s like to live as an american in the United States because i don’t much input to give on that, but it was about how american is viewed and influences the rest of the world.

and yeah, your government fucking sucks, but do you guys think that your government exists in a vaccume?? like they were presumably elected, and yeah I know it wasn’t even a majority technically but it was still a significant amount of people. and guess what, the “evil” members of your government grew up in and were shaped by, you guessed it, american culture! which means that that culture is just as much a culprit. and my post was calling out that culture as well: with the movies that influence throughout the entire world and the capitalist work ethic that has made many more countries follow and pollute and the spread of fast food joints and the loudness of your news that makes it impossible to ignore, and many, many other things. those things are all influenced by people. and yes i know individually you are not to blame, but as a group you are.
