Bant, Garren, Master Windu, Master Ki-Adi-Mundi, Quinlan Vos, Ayla Secura, Plo-Koon, Cin Drallig, Master Luminara, Kit Fisto, Shaak Ti……

The distraction, even a painful one, was deeply welcome. Plus, in an odd way, he felt he owed himself the agony of all this; he owed it to himself as well as those merged with The Force to walk through every unbearable, murderous, heart stopping detail. To mourn is to choose to continue a love that can no longer be felt in return. Though in his head he was literally screaming, though all he could do was imagine ripping his chest and heart to pieces; clawing, biting, whatever it took to annihilate the muscle responsible for the containment of the weight of all his misery; though there were moments where his panic brought his internal functions to a full stop and he felt he could no longer live, he would allow it in full. Obi-Wan Kenobi would die the death of each Jedi loss and hold out hope for the morning that he would wake and feel only acceptance. But for now, distraction…. “Actually, yes.” The voice that answered was not his but a lifeless machine. He stared forward, not daring even a peripheral glance at either droid lest they assault him with memories. Little images were the fraying threads keeping him from shattering for the moment: a gleam on the surface of the viewport to his right, the blurry image of his hand guiding the ship below, colors that a right mind would register as sky and space….. “Tell me the odds.”

“Reasons.” BB-8 was hanging on together by just its wires. The outer shell in shambles so that it couldn’t even roll anywhere. Its head was lolling around like a bobble-head doll. “But mostly because I know no one else would protect you. You’re history. I’m just a droid.”

BB-8 whirred in confusion. Then it lifted its head. “What? Sorry!” It beeped out an apology and rolled back a bit.

R2 beeped, grumbling as it put the shocker tool away.

“Actually more like blown to smithereens. That’s what the Death Star does.” C-3PO nonchalantly stated before realizing what it said. “Oh dear, perhaps I shouldn’t have said that.”

“As I said C-3PO he must never know.”  She shook her head.  “It’s going to be hard enough if he even suspects that I do.  I can’t just tell him either.”

“ I see you are awake. ”

            Orion looks off into the distance, in the direction the droid was pointing to. “I was with my master when we were attacked by reb - bad people. We were separated, and I was knocked unconscious,” he confesses, not about to admit he is a Knight of Ren in training. “Did you see any…discourse go on near here?”

“That wasn’t very nice.”

    Despite Jaina’s actions as a child, she loved C-3PO. He was a friend when the twins didn’t have anyone to play with ( much to his dismay more often than not ) and now, it just felt right to wrap her arms around the droid. It offered a comfort she needed, “I know, Threepio.”

“yeah. i don’t know that many droids with such strong personalities,” bodhi said pointing “and i mean yeah….but the thing is i do care what they think because what if they think i’m weird.” 

“Yes. Have you known me to be anything else?” BB-8 beeped out. Although it soon let out a series of beeps that could equate to laughs. “You should see your face!”

“You’ve got friends now though. You’re our friend.” BB-8 pointed out. It spun happily in place. “I like this delivering thing. Makes all the people happy.”

Regardless, he carefully pushed himself to his feet. The world turned, disorienting him. Despite, he stay standing.

BB-8 was wiggling in anticipation. “What is it? What is it?! What is it?!! WHAT IS IT?!!!”

“Mistress Isla?” A tilt of the head is what emphasized C-3PO’s not understanding. “What…. what is this for?”

“The song that the birds sing is beautiful. When I was little, there used to be a family of them that lived in the palace gardens, coming and going every year.”

Isla already knew how to fly some, but not all crafts. Her biological father was a pilot in the Naboo Air Force who taught her everything he knew. Anakin was teaching her to fly his Jedi craft.
