A helluva pilot

He didn’t initially answer, choosing instead to inch just a touch closer.  It had been a while.  In fact, the last time Ben had seen Poe was at this very club the last time he was here.  

“I’ve been busy, and I don’t come here often.  Do you?” he finally replied, speaking over the music.  

Poe raised an eyebrow, understanding what the other wanted. He took his time to reply, but he did hook his fingers in two of Ben’s belt loops. He pulled Ben close, so that their hips were touching.

That couldn’t be... What? How did this happen? Poe looked over at the other man. It was his week off and he figured why not go and get a drink. He only wanted to sit and watch, but this changed the night a bit. So much for a fly on the wall.

“I don’t know why I’m nervous,” he groaned.  “I’m perfectly fine with one night stands and such.”

Hey guys, sorry for my absence. While there are personal reasons for it, I mostly wanted to update about a few things.

The main thing is, however, I won’t be posting as much about the trailer. I’m currently stuck in my house. I’m severely allergic to smoke, and the Napa fires are contaminating the air, even where I am. I’m safe from the fires, but the smoke is preventing me from doing, well, anything, really. 

The fires are still unfolding, with no containment in sight. The winds have died down, so that’s a step in the right direction. Needless to say, this is putting a damper on my excitement for the trailer.
