voter suppression against black people is reaching Jim Crow era levels in the US so please get registered to vote now, learn who's going to be on your ballot in advance, try to talk some sense into your conservative relatives or coworkers (diplomatically), and, when November rolls around, vote to make Republicans lose as many seats as possible. there are many other things to do, of course, but the midterms will have a massive impact on the future of civil rights.

Also look into carpooling for voters, whether you need the ride or you can help drive for people who do. Republicans are making it harder to vote and that means that registration is less accessible, polling places are less accessible, and absentee voting is less accessible. In a lot of cases, especially in underprivileged and rural communities, carpooling is the only way many people are able to register and vote and those programs can only exist if there are enough drivers and enough people who know to ask for a ride.

No you guys this post helped me find my cat. He was missing for almost a month and I’ve had him for over 12 years. After seeing this I put his favorite blanket he always slept on outside hoping he would smell mine or his scent and he was back the next fucking day asleep on it.

When my cat got out, we called and called for him, and then, later that night, I remembered similar advice to this, and so put his little scratching pad, which he adores, on the front porch. Not even half an hour later, I heard a thump, opened the door, and there was his big butt, meowing at me.

Whenever someone in one of my buy swap sell groups reports a missing cat, I remember this post and pass the advice on. So far, ALL of the missing cats have come home.

You also need to post about your lost pet everywhere. Print out pictures. Create profiles on every social media. This is helpful especially in the event that your pet has been stolen. I know it’s hard to fathom. But pet theft is more rampant than you know. If you make your pet known it is much harder for the person who stole it to sell it on. Make your pet known. Even if theft is not involved it helps to get its face out to the community.

People need to be told this more often. Especially the wankers who keep supporting the billionaires. They're not going to give it to you.
