sometimes i think about the lisa swain who would shrug away affection and run from being known and i see her being showered in tenderness despite the way she fought it for so long and i get all 🥲🤧🥹

lisa saying she was terrified of carla when they first met like it’s some big secret. as if everyone within a five mile radius didn’t notice her instantly enter shaking chihuahua mode. as if her little knees didn’t knock together at the sheer threat of Pretty Lady. as if the tiny fists she uses to fight her inner demons didn’t repeatedly clench any time carla got a little too close. we had no idea, champ, really! no idea at all
