❝Indeed.❞ The vampire sighed. ❝I guess I haven’t been much use to Wyatt with a baby to take care of.❞ She tried to fulfill each task that was given to her, but Nadia knew that she had to focus on Lily sometimes. ❝How have you been?❞

“I doubt he cares... that came out... wrong. I mean, I’m sure he doesn’t mind. He probably understands.” She exclaimed. “i’ve been okay, what about you and Lily?”

Wyatt sat quiet before seeing the female walk into the room and ask him what was wrong. It was still an adjustment for Wyatt to be around darklighter’s. Although they were strong as allies, he was cautious around them since they were one of the only things that were threatening to Wyatt. “Oh just trying to write this spell… I have scourged the book ten times and still cannot write the damn thing..” Wyatt admitted He looked up with his ‘sad blue eyes’ and met with the others. “Can I help you with something?”

Nina licked her dry lips, a thought coming to mind. “Maybe I could help? I’m half witch... that must count for something.” She said with a note of hope top her tone as she approached him closer and took a look at his scribbles. “Nothing in particular.” She dismissed. “I was just-”  Worried about you. “Bored.”  

“still, this thing is my life source.” 

“what do you mean.”

“much appreciated can’t have anyone finding this.” 

“is it important?”

Sitting in the Attic of the Manor, Wyatt sighed as he looked up to the figure in front of him that emitted a bright light. Looking to the female, Wyatt replied. “I know Mom, I’m trying with Chris…and Mellie is… well I never wanted either of them to be embroiled in a war like this… and Phoenix is making things more difficult trying to restructure the underworld as the new source..”  He looked to the female as she replied before nodding his head. “Goodnight mom…Blessed be..” he replied to his mother as he picked up a candle and blew out the flame as his mother disappeared.

Moving towards the book which rested on the floor he flipped through it with a wave of his finger to turn each page as he scanned over them. Next to him was a notepad and pen and he was surrounded by crumpled up paper from the pad. Stopping on one page to ressurect a loved one, he reviewed the words and scribbled them down on a new piece of paper adding to a spell he had already tried to compose.  After reading it through in his head he groaned before crumpling it up and throwing it. “Damn it.” he graned before hearing the floorboard creeking and looking up to see who had come to interupt him.

Nina wasn’t too used to going to the manor, it was a place that dangerous to people like her, at least it used to be. With Wyatt in charge it was far safer, at least for her in particular. She orbed in, not knowing the place well enough to pinpoint the point she wanted. She was in the hall when she heard a familiar voice curse. “Whats the matter?” She asked, walking into the room without a knock. 

“oh.. so i did. thank you.” 

“not a problem.”

Ric walked toward the female. «What did I drop?»

“Wallet.”

❝Oh. Thanks, Nina!❞ She said, recognizing the female from Wyatt’s.  

“Its been a while Nadia.”

“oh.. thanks.” she smiled. “don’t know where i’d be without it.” 

“not a problem.” nina said with a light smirk. 

“What? I think I’d have noticed if I’d dropped-”

“Wallet.” She said holding it up. 

lina turned around and gave her a small smile. “oh. thanks nina.”

“no problem linda.”

“ you are literally a lifesaver, thank you.” jade felt a sigh of relief, she had been frantically looking for the necklace she had dropped. it was new and it was supposed to have protecting and healing properties, all things she learned since jace told her the truth about their family.

“not a problem.” nina chuckled, the truth being was that she was not normally in such a good mood. Usually she’d keep such a thing for herself, but she woke up in a pleasant mood so she figured why not?

“Oh, I’m so scared.”

“Trust me when I say you should be.”

That was one thing that Wyatt would never do. He did not always care about feelings and the walls that he built up around his own were higher than anyone could imagine, but he would never make fun of Nina. It meant a lot to him that she confessed about being in love with him and he was not lying when he told her that he could see himself falling in love with her someday. It was the truth what he said: Nina had so much more than he could ask for. His rejection at the ball never happened because of her. It was all because of him.

The male shook his head when she spoke his name with such uncertainty. He could imagine that she doubted his intentions and Wyatt could not blame her. She was right, in a way, something was off with this, but he did not plan on seducing her out of P I T Y. «Never-mind?» He laughed quietly. «Don’t think too much.» The male asked of her, caressing her face. «If you don’t want it tell me, but if you do…» His sentence trailed off once she leaned forward to kiss him again and he deepened it this time while he tightened his hold on her.

“That won’t be hard.” She said with her smile a light one, it was more then easy with Wyatt before her eyes. With him, she didn’t need to think at all, just trust. And she trusted him beyond measure. “I do.” She said in a small whisper of a voice, before asserting louder. “I do, more then you could believe. Maybe too much.” She admitted, hand lifting and caressing his cheek. I love you. she wanted to say, but couldn’t bring herself to speak such words. Instead she leaned into the kiss, smiling when his lips left hers.
