the similarities of these scenes haunt my inner being… the emotion in the eyes of obi wan and ahsoka are really something else. they have seen their truest friend who they both thought they abandoned turn into a monster. i mean they have both been riddled with guilt about what’s happened to anakin… ahsoka “i won’t leave you, not this time.” and obi wan “i’m sorry anakin, for all of it.” I honestly don’t think either one of them thought anakin made the dark side choice alone, they both always felt like they were apart of the reason he turned. these story arcs and character arcs are some of the saddest of the star wars franchise.
