Batfam au where all the kids are some flavour of baby assassin in training. Dick n Dami n Cass, 'nuff said. Jason ran with a couple of older kids for about 3 months, had no idea they were all being trained as assassins until he fought them as Robin. Cluemaster tried having Stephanie as a sidekick once. Duke went to a summer camp that was later outed as a front. Tim paid for ninja classes so he could take better photos.
Regarding the Baby Assassin Squad: it could even go one step further and make Bruce himself a Baby Assassin... before their deaths, Thomas and Martha enrolled him in a junior spymaster course because of his love for Zorro. It was only after he started training with the League that he realized there was nothing "junior" about it.

A multiversal battle results in basically every piece of Batmedia winding up in the possession of Thomas and Martha Wayne when Bruce is a baby.
They find themselves at a crossroads. Either they die, or their son does. In desperation to find a happier path, they come to a conclusion: Thomas must willingly assume the mantle of Batman, while Martha is Batwoman. If Gotham requires a sacrifice, let this be theirs.
Using copious amounts of comicbooks, audacity, and the fact that now they're both superheroes, they do it. They live to see Bruce grow up.

Logged in today, and there was a gorgeous photo of a mop. Beautiful lighting, suspended magically in midair. It was the most beautiful mop I had ever seen. It made me realize that even a mop could be a thing of beauty in the right conditions.

The new Ranma 1/2 anime has the potential to be very interesting fandom-wise. So much has changed since the first anime aired.
I've seen a lot of old fanfics that base Ranma's pronouns on whether or not he's in his cursed form, which used to be pretty commonplace IIRC.
I hope that it's less common going forwards since this is a chance to provide affirmation and support towards anyone who's struggling to have their pronouns respected and heard, regardless of their gender identity.
I remembered an old GF AU where Dipper and Mabel were young magic users learning from their Grunkle. With the recent renaissance, I thought of a possible prequel/spinoff where Stan learns magic from a trucker wizard who has an undead raccoon named Street Pizza as a pet.
Why Stan and not Ford? "Magic isn't about brains. It's a scam, a con. You pull one over on reality, and if it tries to object you punch it in the gut and steal its wallet."
The Menagerie of the Transmundane was, contrary to its fanciful name, a one-room building and an outhouse three miles off Route 66, and thirty miles from civilization.
Stan parked the rickety old truck that he'd...acquired... back in Louisiana in the gravel lot, and grabbed the box from the back. Pushing the door open, he looked around. "Hello?" He called. " I'm here for the newspaper ad about the job?"
He looked around. Noon and the joint was empty. With a shrug, Stan turned to go wait in the truck. Maybe he could fix the air.
Before he could reach the door, a loud bang and a puff of smoke filled the small room.
"Sorry 'bout that." A thick drawl said. "Security system's actin' up. Took me a minnit to notice ya."
Stan glared, relaxing from his stance. "Hey, watch it with the hokey smoke bomb trick, bub. Some of us still need to breathe over here."
The smoke cleared, revealing an overweight man in a stained shirt and pants. He scratched his beard for a moment. "Yeah, yeah. Keep yor hose on. You said a job?"
Stan nodded, pulling out the flyer. It was stained, crumpled, and looked to be covered in old cheese, but it was still legible.
"Assistant wanted" it read. "Apply at the Menagerie of the Transmundane. No experience neccessary."
The man took it. "Yep. That's my ad, alright. Surprised you found it though."
"It was in the newspaper! And my burger!" Stan replied. Kinda hard to miss."
"That explains the cheese." The man passed the flyer back. Anywho, you're hired. Name's Bud Gunn."
"Wait, just like that?" Stan asked. "Not that I'm complaining, but isn't there supposed to be an interview, or something?" He paused. "Also, is this place busier on weekends or something? Why'd you need an assistant for this dump?"
Bud rolled his eyes. "The flyer was the interview. Besides, it said 'no experience nessessary'. And I don't need an assistant for this place. This is just for the saps."
"Then what is the job?" Stan asked, intrigued. "Drugs? Trafficking stolen goods? Armed Robbery?"
Bud laughed, and flicked a lightswitch. With a creak, a trapdoor behind the cash register slid open, exposing a dark stairwell. "Nope. Magic."
The funny thing about royalty-free music is where you hear it. Case-in-point, when catching up with Re:Dracula (May 15), I recognized the track they used for his exploration. Specifically, it was one of the common tracks used in the game The Planet Crafter as ambiance. (I'm not certain if it's still in the game, they added a good deal of new music recently).
So I get pulled away from the horror that Jonathan Harker is dealing with by my brain incessantly saying "Terraform the Planet!"

Batman AU: Bruce has an adoption problem. It started several centuries ago with his first forays into the multiverse, and his first encounters with bad dad batmen. Now more than half of Gotham's population is various versions of the batfam.
He's got like, 160 Alfreds, two suburbs of stephanies, a district of Damians... etc.
Clark is mildly concerned. He had the good sense to incorporate the Kent farm as a township, not take over a city.
I've been thinking about the first Calamity, and when it happened. We know that it was Totk Ganondorf who was responsible, so for a while, I thought that it happened shortly after the memories.
I have a new theory. A wild take. What if the Calamity, and by extension, the fallout (aka the yiga, possibly the gerudo being on poor terms with hyrule) happened right before the Hyrule civil war from Ocarina of time? The one that orphaned Oot Link?
We know that the civil war was caused by the choices of the king. We know that the king post-calamity ordered the shiekah tech and divine beasts hidden away. What if these two things are, in fact, one in the same?
Bonus theory: the Ancient Hero's aspect is a transformation mask like the Fierce Deity. In Japanese, it's called the ancient hero's soul, it's an item, not clothing, and the aura of the ancient hero envelops and transforms the bearer. Sounds like the Fierce Deity to me.
