some sketches and experiment i made last few months :)) i bought a new charcoal pencil a week ago and I received some acrylic markers for christmas!! my job has kept me quite busy (and so fucking tired) so I haven't had time/energy to use them, but I did some testing!

Frank just nods, exhaling some slow, drawn out breath that fans out across Gerard's lips. And at that point he basically can't take it any fucking longer, so he tilts his head to the side and presses his lips to Frank's—soft and gentle and completely wonderful all at once. Like some impossibly relentless weight had been lifted and that fidgety nervousness had dissipated between them—leaving behind just the two of them there, now.

Gerard parts his lips ever so slightly and can suddenly feel the metal coolness of Frank's lip ring against his own, which is both so perfectly him and a little jarring at the same time. Though, he figures it would be something that he would just have to get used to. And even the thought of kissing him again, some other time in future, was enough to make that terribly warm feeling in his chest rise again.

Frank eventually pulls away after a few more moments and rests his forehead up against Gerard's, panting a little as his dark hair falls into his eyes, "So...uhm, did it hurt?"

Gerard says nothing in response, killing the line before letting out a long, clearly overdue groan. He figured, it was moments like these when absconding away to Maine to become a reclusive, semi-deranged poet seemed like an incredibly propitious idea. And of course, he would take Frankie with him. And they could sit out in the warm summer sun by the lake and read and talk until they got bored of that. Then they’d wander into town and buy local honey and jams and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to share at dinner. And they’d end the night staring up at the dark black sky—though if they were far enough away from the city they could probably see the stars. Gerard’s knowledge of astronomy was fairly underdeveloped but he had thought that was the sort of thing Frank just knew. So, alright, Frank would tell him some anecdote about nebulae and Orion’s Belt and he’d eventually have to shut him up by kissing him.

Then they would fall asleep together just like always—except you know, much closer.
