(pregnant eldritch lover) the human, i think, is enjoying this whole adventure a great deal. They tried to be safe at first, but the eldritch thing that had fallen head over heels for them was so needy all the time that it was easy to make impulsive mistakes. But they just assumed it would be able to snap its fingers and make the problem go away if something happened. But not only does it seem to deny the problem's existence as impossible, it said it cant change the shape of its vessel's growing middle. Something about that thrills the human. Excites them. This ancient, powerful thing, making itself small for them to keep and to use as they like, because it likes them, because it wants them... and now, it's body is changing, to bear their child.
Its not hard to fall a little in love with the idea. Seeing it wear its collar drives them wild, they cant keep their hands off of it. Its stubborn, insisting its not possible, but if this was just weight gain or something then they'd just have to put twice the effort in to make it real. It's so beautiful like this, more and more the bigger it grows. The rush of power and confidence that they feel from making it theirs is beyond what they know how to express.
The eldritch lover can eventually finally admit something abnormal is happening to it as it's third trimester progresses, round and heavy, the movement getting too strong to disregard or misattribute- but it admits this too late to prepare itself. Before they can even find time to discuss names, the eldritch thing is woken up in the middle of the night by painful contractions. Its first confused, pained groans awaken the human, who leaps to attention to help it out of bed and into a low squat, petting its hair and praising her as it finds itself starting to sob when its waters- an unnatural, vibrant color- break and drip on the floor below it.
This kind of pain is novel and thrilling too, it quickly finds. The praise is wonderful, but the little dominant tugs on its collar and hair to get it to position itself correctly are almost better. Theres a strange urge, and it thinks its what the human means when they tell it to 'push,' so it happily obeys, quickly feeling the head of their strange part-monstrous firstborn begin to fill its hips, and already they know it'll want to try it again.

I just... how do you manage to reshape something so otherworldly and potentially horrific into something so adorable and wholesome? Because that's what you've done here, Anon. There's a great and infinitely powerful being who's willingly reduced themself to a more human level, who then takes it a step further to gift their submission (and their womb) to a human, too.
I think it's fascinating that a being like this, so used to having the strength and control and the ability to shape reality to its whim, would so enthusiastically give new experiences a try. 😊
The question now is, what does that half-eldritch offspring look like? And how will it ultimately emerge from the being's body? 💗
