recently started rewatching madoka magica while some of my friends get into it and i realized that had mami's soul gem not manifested as the little hair piece she most likely would've survived considering kyubey explains later that whatever happens to their physical bodies really doesn't have much to do with their survival as long as their soul gems are okay. so that means if mami had her soul gem as like a bracelet or something she would've been okay even with her head gone right? i think im rambling at this point but yknow. those are my thoughts
