So I had a funny dream the other night.

also so much people are falling for it so byeah, that also sucks, anyway

1. copy paste the whole ask and put it on the search bar

the search bar is shit for looking for tags BUT it will show you the exact ask post when you look it up word for word

Now if different blogs are sending the same ask word for word then that's definitely a scammer

1.1 search the url in the search bar and see if people confirms the account is a scam

2. The blog is less than a week old and/or reblogged a bunch of other Palestine related posts in the same day of it's creation

This has been age old advice on how to tell any scam blog in any context. Scammers fill their blogs with reblogs to make it look like they're a genuine tumblr user. Check the dates of all the posts. Usually they never make another post/reblog after they think the account is filled enough

3. When they say they're vetted without mentioning or linking who confirmed it

and relating to point 2, this account and all the posts are two days old

3.1 The ask/post reads like a storybook because of the lack of info while trying so hard to make the story sound legit by adding dramatic words (from the above, "one day, as the bombs fell" "without insulin, my blood sugar levels soared" "as conflict raged around me")

4. Searching the name and not finding any info besides the tumblr blog

pretty suspicious if the person asking for help doesn't exist, don't it

4.1 The ask does not mention a name at all

i cant say for sure but it seems like people in gaza are telling each other that tumblr is a good place to fundraise and making template messages that are translated well because 1. its easier to send a bunch of people 2. people may only have a basic knowledge of english. a lot of the people fundraising made accounts specifically for this bc theyre not familiar with tumblr so their blogs will be recently created and not have a lot of posts.

its probably better to just go off lists of fundraisers that have been verified by palestinians and arabic speakers on here. you could be hurting an innocent person in need of help by assuming their awkwardly worded message is a scam and telling people that

paypal campaigns are much more likely to be scams, definitely search the name and reverse image search photos if you cant tell if somethings legit.
