We promised something interesting to pass the time until autumn and so we delivered: Chao Week 2026, the first non-zine event hosted by Project Chao! This is a fanweek/prompt challenge dedicated to our favourite game creatures – Chao from Sonic the Hedgehog franchise 🍊 The tags for the event are  #Chao Week and #Chao Week 2026. This year it runs from August 17th to August 23rd, and there are a total of 14 prompts. While they are organised into specific days (2 per day), you are free to use them in any order or combination or even skip any. And don’t worry if neither of the prompts sparks joy, because there will be extra prompts revealed on each day 🌟 By the way, in the spirit of our project, anyone can participate and most type of creations are accepted!
