I never liked this piece so I never shared. This is the first drawing of Moiraine I made straight after finishing S01 in 2021/2022 on my new iPad and while listening to Pike's audiobook. It took me half of the audiobook to finish this and yet I remained unhappy about it. The reason it being self-taught means I just don't have the basic skills and knowledge to draw efficiently so trying to fix something once it's 'done' but obviously wrongly can be a lot of work.

And also, the other version of this as my first Tumblr post and the reception it got was heartwarming. 💜 So I stayed a while.

But today I want to celebrate this amazing involuntary insomniac Aes Sedai because she means so much to me. And I've got a feeling that after previously being forced to run through the forest covered in mud and begging her long forgotten family members for shelter and and sandwiches, season 3 Moiraine will not have it any easier.

It's also December. 🤷🏼‍♀️
