Each of the boys are from where I think they would be directly after their respective stories left off (Hayward after the finale of ToBS, Moriarty after Young Sherlock S1, Mat after Wheel of Time Show S3, and Orpheus after losing Eurydice) which means I am drawing from both book canon and the logical next step for where show canon left him.
