Today is the first of july, i always loved this day, july and august are my months because i’m a lion. I feel good and the days are full of ideas, opportunities, love and friends. Today is one of my last jobs here in Barcelona because soon i will fly home. Back to Belgium. The time i had here in Barceloa was the best, i had great jobs, nice magazines (there will be editorials coming out untill oktober), i got in perfect shape, worked hard, ate healthy, learned to understand some spanish. I’m so greatfull for what this place has done to me.

Shooting wintercollection for the russian Brand Rusos. This week it is hotter than usual in Barcelona. Sweating it out but keeping it professional. There were like 3 filming camera’s and maybe 6 persons with a normal camera. Eyes everywhere. Felt like a tourist attraction at some point 😅. Specially look at the girl with the white screen when she pops in the frame.

Woke up early to see sunrise on Montjuic. I was just in time to enjoy this beautiful morningsun. 3 hours i walked around and didnt see a soul passing by. Just me, nature and this view. Felt so good. Beautiful moments are in front of us and we have to take them when we can. Also traveling alone is about adventure and looking for things that light up your day. Your sandwich isnt going to do that for you.

When i went with Elle Belgium on the fashiontrip to Marokko i never thought it would be such a big adventure. I loved the feeling of exploring this new world. As a team we had to overcome a lot of obstacles and find new ways to become this lovely outcome. I remember that this shot was a funny one. We were staying at La Mamounia, a really nice hotel were the servants help you before you even realize you needed something. At the entrance there was this guy opening the doors. He was dressed tradiotionally and so it was a bit controversial to pose with him in a transparent tshirt with a transparent body underneath. You could see everything if you tried hard enough. For me casual shit, but for him… Anyway this combination was a challenge. When i hung around his neck, i asked him ‘cava?’ And he made a GRRRRRWWWWN noise in my ear. I had to keep serious at that point but oh boy i was laughing inside.
