My shower time just got a little better today! DIY labeled shower toiletries, found here. This was super easy, however a tad time-consuming, but totally worth it! I love how they turned out!
Rain-check! Absolutely loving this weather!
Decided to try out the video feature on my camera today, and what better day than a rainy one.
April, one of the best months of the year!

DIY doesn’t only have to be about crafty projects, so I like to include food and drink into that category. Trying a new type of post this week, so lets see how it turns out.
Sundays are my day to prep for the week. I do laundry, clean up the house, and prepare my lunches for the week. My meals usually consist of sautéed chicken breasts, oven-roasted potatoes, and a vegetable, which lately has been changing weekly. Y’know, to keep things interesting ;)
Loosely followed a new roasted potato recipe this week that I found here at Pocket Change Gourmet. Might have left them in the oven a tad too long, but still seemed pretty good. Made the chicken breasts with olive oil, minced garlic, sliced onions and lemons, and drizzled in honey halfway through cooking. Steamed spinach completes my lunches, ‘cause that’s what Popeye taught me.
Upcycling! Old candle, new cotton swab jar!
I can't get enough of this girl 😍
Been feeling pretty sporty lately. Must have been that SuperBall I keep hearing about.

I’ve been trying to eat better as of the past month or so, and instead of grabbing a breakfast sandwich from Starbucks every morning (which also has been saving me money), I started making breakfast at home. This has become my new go-to; Vanilla Greek yogurt, granola, blueberries, bananas, all drizzled with some honey. SO GOOD!
Breakfast items not pictured- protein shake, hard-boiled egg, and Clif bar. They weren’t ready for a photoshoot this early in the day.

Recently I purchased these curtains that I absolutely love and decided to hang them in my bedroom. I’m not usually a statement print kind of guy, but I couldn’t resist these. I’m not really a fan of curtains without grommets, because they don’t slide as easily and I just don’t think they look that nice hanging on a rod. I found a DIY tutorial on Pinterest (click here for tutorial) on how to add grommets yourself and I decided to give it a try. Figuring out the spacing was a little challenging, but attaching the grommets themselves was pretty easy. I’m happy with how they turned out!
Recently tufted our couch cushions. Really pleased with how they turned out! Unfortunately I didn’t take a before picture, but trust me, it’s better now. :) DIY from Oh Everything Handmade
